Curél Foaming Facial Wash 150ml for Dry, Sensitive Skin

This cleanser is incredible and has absolutely saved my skin! I swore by Neutrogena hydro boost gel cleanser for ages but, as we're going into winter and I have started using retinal, my (already very sensitive skin) was becoming very irritated. I use this as a second cleanse after the Haruharu oil cleanser and I can't believe it took me so long to try it. The texture is beautiful, it's an airy light foam that is lovely to use and an absolute dream to wash off. Gel cleansers feel much heavier and harder to rinse but this is gone in seconds. My skin is so soft and calm afterwards, it soothes redness and isn't stripping in the slightest. I cannot recommend this enough and will immediately order more so I never run out! I have spent so much money on expensive cleansers and this beats them all. There is no scent and the bottle lasts for ages.

This is MY HOLY GRAIL. Finalllyyyyyy a product that works for my sensitive skin! My skin is extremely sensitive, like EXTREMELY, it’s horrendous. Never ever been able to find a product that does not irritate. But finally, I have! Please never change your formula! I absolutely love it! Great product, great value for money, great quality! After years of searching, this might be the closest thing I can get to a perfect face wash. I have exceptionally sensitive, aging, acne-prone skin which makes skincare very difficult to navigate, with even the most gentle cleansers usually causing issues for me. This stuff easily removes the light makeup I wear every day, leaving no residue behind. It doesn't dry out my combination oily skin, and leaves it soft without feeling stripped of moisture. I do, however, think it might be a little drying for dry skin types, despite the claims of "intensive moisture". I haven't had any additional breakouts from using this either (which is a miracle in itself). I like the hygienic packaging, and the foaming pump is perfect for my hard water area, meaning I use less product over all. My only gripe is that it has been drying out my eyelids to the point of triggering eczema there, so I'm using a separate cleanser to remove eyeliner at night. It doesn't irritate my actual eyes if it gets in them though. Over all, I'm really pleased with this facial wash and will absolutely repurchase when it runs out.

I never leave reviews but NEED to for this. I’ve had a damaged skin barrier for over a year and have tried everything but nothing has worked. Until now. I’ve only been using it a week but it’s already made my skin feel less like sandpaper and I can see my pores disappearing. It’s foaming but not at all drying so you can ensure I good clean and it takes all makeup off. It’s literally a miracle and I will 100% buy it again!

Buy this time and time again. Its beautifully moisturising, does not break you out as it is gentle and I think a very underrated brand for skin care.

This is soooooo lovely to use. The foam is smooth and frothy and glides onto your face. It feel luxurious. I am now converted for life. Sadly, most of my family seem to have discovered my (hidden) bottle!

Cleans very well and doesn’t dry out skin

I’m amazed at how gentle yet effective this face wash performs. I have rosacea and reactive, sensitive skin. I can’t even use most sunscreens, even the all mineral types. It leaves my face, neck, and chest clean, but not tight or stinging. It’s foaming but still substantial enough with two pumps to adequately lather and feel substantial enough for cleaning. No smell, no fragrance. I’ve tried dozens of products for my very dry, condition ridden skin. None helped and most left my skin greasy and not clean. This does not get rid of redness, but it doesn’t claim to. The most important quality is it doesn’t inflame my conditions and actually cleans my skin. I have tried a couple of products from this line and they are all work well. I really hope they don’t stop making these products. FYI, I received no free products or incentives for this review. I paid full price and am a real customer. I always like to know this when I’m considering reviews.

J’utilise ce nettoyant depuis maintenant quelques années, sur une peau sèche + rosacée, matin et soir. Il est doux : entendre par là qu’il ne décape pas et donc n’assèche pas ma peau déjà bien abîmée. Je l’ai longtemps associé à la crème Curél riche ou à la crème Ruboril S. C’est un combo qui a bien fonctionné pour moi, en régulant mes rougeurs ou autres petits boutons. Côté texture j’aime beaucoup le côté très dense de la mousse produite par le flacon-pompe. J’en ai acheté deux (douche et lavabo..) et dorénavant je ne me procure plus que les versions recharges moins chères. J’ai tenté une alternative moins chère de chez iUnik (mousse centella), mais je ne retrouve pas la densité bien agréable de la mousse Curél, à laquelle je reste donc fidèle.

Un nettoyage en douceur. La mousse est un peu dense. Une pompe suffit. Votre barrière cutanée vous dira merci.

-Love that it's unscented -Gentle cleanse, it cleans well without being too harsh on the skin, however I don't think this cleanser is strong enough to remove make up so I would not suggest it for people looking for that criteria. -No AHA or BHAs, this makes this cleanser AMAZING if you have a broken skin barrier!! Many cleansing products contain one or the other which hinders barrier healing. -Contains ceramides which help with moisturizing and repairing skin barrier -In general this cleanser has a very clean ingredient list (No fragrance, colorants, oils, sulfates (SLS), or drying alcohols) -As for pricing, it is worth the price especially if you have sensitive skin or you're trying to repair your skin barrier! Yes the bottle is on the smaller side, but there are not a lot of cleansers that is as barrier-healing friendly as this one! -The closest thing I could find that compare to this product is the Etude House Soon Jung Whip Cleanser ($15 for 5fl oz). Both have clean ingredients and are targeted for barrier repairing. The biggest difference is that Curel's product focuses more on deep hydration so it's great for those with tight, dry, compromised skin and Soon Jung's product focuses more on calming redness, inflammation, and breakouts.
