Replacement Remote (Includes TV Controls) for Fire TV Stick, Fire TV Stick 4K & Fire TV Stick Lite/Max (.(No Voice Function)

I was excited to get this remote, after I looked it up every different way to program it finally got it to connect to tv. Then I had to go the long route to connect it to fire stick. I was happy to see it finally all connected and worked but it was soon after using it I realized that the left/right/up/down button go in a continuous loop when just pressed once. basically it keeps like I I’m scrolled through. I tried to make it stop but there is no end in sight the oarnge light just blinks continuously when I try to press home ( long review short it has serious lag and it really not useable)

After the dog used the original remote as a chew toy, I looked for a replacement and (foolishly) figured that Amazon would have a OEM replacement for one of their signature devices at a reasonable price. Nope. They want $33 for one (and the entire Firestick is currently on sale for $30!!). So, I took a gamble on this one. It is not at all like the original in either button configuration or programming, and the instructions are a very poor translation with hard-to-read graphics of the buttons. It did pair with the Firestick on the second try, but it does not seem to link the same way. Despite a number of attempts, it never would pair with any of our televisions, and the method required (copying the commands from the TV's remote) seems doomed to fail. I will be returning this immediately.

We got this because kids are gross and ours was no longer working due to water bing spilled on it and the back being ripped off. It is a cheaper version of the branded Fire Stick remote and it DOES work and was super quick to set up, there were zero issues, but the buttons are kind of “loose” I guess. The response isn’t nearly as good as the original remote and it does have to be closer to the TV than the original. It works, we will keep it — we are happy that our kids cannot call Alexa on it. But, honestly, if *I* were to get another, I’d spend the extra $5 for the Amazon branded replacement remote.

My dog loves this remote as if it had a similar taste to the OEM one. That’s a good sign, must mean they are using equivalent materials and that equates to a good product.Even with it being tasty, dogs opinion, I think there’s no flavor, it still works as expected.From a durability standpoint, great job. However, may I suggest taking out some of the flavor. I mean, it’s not a total deal breaker because I would hate for our dog to be hungry, walk past a large bowl of Nutro and starve to death because the control didn’t have flavor. In a roundabout way, thank you.

Our dog chewed our Fire stick remote. I purchased this one to replace it. I didn't realize it wasn't an actual firestick remote. Does not have Alexa. Took a ridiculous long time to pair it to the firestick, wouldn't pair to turn tv off and on, wouldn't pair for volume, only channel changes and home. The remote is super touchy! If you don't hit it exactly right, it will scroll and scroll. When I had to change the batteries, which didn't last long, I had to pair it back up again, but it wouldn't let me. Very frustrating.

Remote works OKAY but it requires the old remote to learn the codes. I was hoping this remote would be a universal remote and it had all the codes pre-programmed. It also has a lot of lag on my fire stick (sometimes a button press takes 15-25 seconds to register.)

It took a little to get it to pair with the fire cube but after going through all the process it didn't operate the cube/TV/ or receiver like the original remote. It navigates the screen okay but that's all it can do. Returning it and looking really hard for proper replacement.

I cannot believe this crap is even being sold as a replacement. Amazon should do a better job of screening products. You should be ashamed of your product and people that sell this crap should be banned
