IK Multimedia iKlip 2 iPad Music Stand Adaptor

The unit assembled in about 6 minutes, even for a klutz like me, hangs nicely on a microphone stand. After some initial resistance, it allowed the iPad entry, and holds it securely and with a nice range of tilt and rotation. Just don't turn the open end downward. (Oh, REALLY? :) ) Five stars for doing one thing and doing it well. Compared to some other iPad stands, it's quite a bit less expensive, nicely designed and effective. Good job, IK.

Simple, effective, versatile, seems sturdy but not bear proof. I love this mount. The iPad mini mounted to the top side is the horizontal boom does not stand out like a traditional music stand and everything is at your fingertips! I love this mount!

Works well - easy to use, flexible as head of attachment is adjustable all ways with the ball socket. Attaches to almost any stand. Worth the price.

I was looking for a holder that would accommodate an original iPad Air, and there's not many out there that are simple and cheap. This one has additional snap on pieces to fit the Air models, and it was very simple and straightforward to put together. The support when attached to the microphone stand is sturdy and reliable. This filled my need for a few songs during a wedding gig and was very happy with the purchase.

I like it. At first, I was a little concerned about the open end, but it's a non-issue. The ipad slides in with a nice firm grip. Even it you spun it upside down on accident, it's not going to just fall out. It's a great little stand. I play keys and don't know how I ever got along without an ipad in the past. Incredibly handy and I've never had an issue with this stand. It works great.

This is an amazing product. My iPad Air 2 fits perfectly and its very stable. I really recommend it to you!

I am not a musician, but I bought this to hold my iPad while I am on my cycling trainer.I had to use the clips to hold my iPad. It took a bit of fiddling, but now the clips are in and they seem to hold my iPad securely.My primary complaint is that I can't tighten the ball join enough to keep it from slipping. If I don't touch it, it won't slip, but tapping on the iPad makes it move around and slip unless I hold it with the other hand. This isn't practical when I'm on my bike, so this is getting to the point that this is unusable. I tried putting some electrical tape on the ball, but that didn't work too good. Bottom line -- the ball joint slips and is not secure.

This is a well made unit and works great as advertised. The iPad is protected and easy to use on the mic stand. Set up was also eas y and I am not mechanically inclined. I would high recommend this product.

Ipad slides in nicely and claps easily to a tripod but the ball joint design needs work. The ball loosens up over time and causes Ipad to droop down. Too much plastic in the ball joint - should have been made in metal.

I'm a musician so often perform from an iPad on stage. This is so much more reliable than having music on a music stand or even your iPad on a music stand. Almost zero chance of it falling off or not being able to see it. The build quality is good and it's a tough product (it survived being run over by a taxi...).I chose this one as it's a dedicated fit for my iPad. Looking back it may have been wiser to buy an adjustable one as now I'm planning on upgrading my iPad this one won't work.The size of the clamp means that it fits any pole of a mic stand so you can attach it wherever you want. It's extremely easy to mount and set up.

I use this to hold my iPad in front of my stationary bike trainer. Sturdy and easy to put ipad in and out. Highly recommend!
