Nice hat. Really helpful at night or early morning. Easy to turn on and off. Long lasting light.

I assumed that if nothing else, this would be an inexpensive baseball cap. That said, it turns out to be a rather sturdy baseball cap, with a very bright LED lamp in the brim, sufficient to guide my way down an unlighted path at night. I have not measured, but a rough estimate is that the beam provides visibility about 15 - 20 feet in front of me, enough to make sure that I stay out of the brush and the water.

Needed something for taking the dog out in the dark and this hat is perfect. Plenty of light when needed, easy to recharge, and the hat looks good on its own.

We liked these for walks before sunup. I also carry little flashlight, it's brighter. Cap battery died in 5 week using 1/2 hour to 40 min a day. You need a tiny #0 Phillips screw driver to change two 2023 battery. My husband is fine with that. They should make it easier to change the batteries, but it might need a larger battery case.You could use if needed to change a tire in the dark or other work.

I wasn't sure that I would like this hat since my previous lighted hat used 4 button batteries and the batteries would last about three weeks. On this hat the batteries were dead when I tried to use it on the second use. Plus ➕ the battery box wasn't attached to the hat like my other hat. It just flops around making it hard to use and change the batteries.

I’m a woman and have a huge skull - not to mention hair and this cap actually fit me. It IS quite lightweight- lightweight enough that it doesn’t feel like it’s going to stay on. But it does (thank you ponytail). It’s good enough I guess. I haven’t fallen down anyone’s stairs since I got the hat. The LED’s are bright enough to light up a small path but but you’d definitely want a hat with a larger lamp if you needed it for work or an all day project in your crawl space. I didn’t read through all the directions so I’m not exactly sure what to do when the battery dies....
