Great Portable Espresso Maker, But Needs Clearer Instructions
I'm giving this portable espresso maker 4 stars because it does brew a delicious cup of coffee and it's very portable. However, the instructions could be clearer. Nowhere in the product description does it mention that you need to use hot water to brew espresso. For me, this was a bit of a surprise - I was expecting to be able to use cold or room temperature water. In addition, the Minipresso NS can be a bit messy to use, and it requires some practice to get the perfect cup. If you're looking for a no-fuss way to make espresso at home, this probably isn't the best option. However, if you're a coffee lover who travels frequently, the Minipresso NS is a great way to enjoy a good cup of coffee on the go.Here are some additional things to keep in mind:* The water can get very hot, so you need to be careful when handling it.* It can be difficult to clean and is not dishwasher safe.Overall, I would recommend the WACACO Minipresso NS to coffee lovers who are looking for a portable espresso maker. Just be aware of the shortcomings I mentioned before you buy.

Surprised at how nice this is
This makes a nice cup of traditional espresso. Cream and all. It does take a bit of effort to pump, but worth it! Easy to clean and transport.

⭐⭐⭐⭐ Handy Travel Espresso Maker—With a Few Quirks
The WACACO Minipresso NS is a solid option for espresso lovers on the go. It’s great in a pinch—whether you’re camping, traveling, or just need a quick shot without access to a full machine. It’s compatible with Nespresso Original capsules, which makes it super convenient, and it does produce a surprisingly decent shot with a bit of crema. Just don’t expect café-level quality. That said, it’s not a replacement for a proper espresso machine. It’s manually operated and somewhat labor-intensive, especially if you’re hoping for a quick caffeine fix. You’ll need to put in a bit of effort to get your shot, and cleanup isn’t exactly effortless either.☕ My biggest gripe is the sealing. More often than not, I experience some leakage while pumping the shot out, which can be frustrating and messy. It’s not a deal breaker, but it’s definitely something to be aware of.Overall, if you’re okay with the price tag and understand this is more of a travel gadget than a daily driver, it’s a fun and functional tool to have in your kit.

Be Patient
The first one I received was clearly a used return, so I reordered. This is amazing! I recently used on a PR trip, and it was so lovely being able to buy milk and chai tea concentrate to use with this contraption for dirty chai lattes. I just took two sleeves of original line nespresso pods. It also makes a great single espresso shot. I think some past reviewers might be a bit confused as to the amount that an espresso shot is supposed to be. It does fill their little cup they give. You also have to be firm when screwing in the cap; otherwise, it won’t pierce the pod enough for the water to get through. Yes, it requires pumping which might be hard for some, but that’s a small price to be able to brew my own on vacation. This will be a game changer with my travel!

Best travel espresso machine
In short: you wont be disappointed! As soon as I got this I had to try it out and compare it side by side with the nespresso machine. I did a quick wash of the minipresso and poured some hot water fromThe nespresso mashine as it's quicker then boiling water. It took 20 seconds to fill the water, screw it on and add the Nespresso Capsule. The race starts. Pressed the button on the nespresso and at the same time started pumping the Minipresso. It took about 10-11 pumps to fill a shot of espresso and finished a few seconds before the Nespresso machine. Results: the Mjnimpresso held up to its name. It didn't make as much crèmà as I was hoping it would with useing two hands to pump, however I am still satisified.Pros:-Extremely small (size of a 12 oz water bottle-easy to use, set up.-Cleaning was not bad.inwouod dona nice deep cleaning after 10 uses and clean out some left over coffee stuck in the nook and crannies.Cons:-When taking the pods out donit over a sink or trash as it will leak some coffee and wil get over you.-AIRPORT: I have pre check, and out of the 15 times I flew, they pulled me to the side 9 times to check it out and to open it all up. Not a big deal.I just take it out now and put it separately and I do mention it to the TSA so they are aware of it, now I never get stoped. But when I do mention it they do think it's a pretty cool device. So if you get stopped. Don't give them a hard time! You can eaither ruien your day and get upset or walk away laughing and the next time you see them, they will Most likely remember you and ask how your coffee is.I have used this:On road tripsOut CampingOn AirplanesOn vacationsSitting at the beach early morning/ late eveningsAt work
