amazing value
I don't write many reviews, but this one was worth the effort. There are many options out there including LED activated trays. Many reviews said they burned their gums and turned them white (with pictures to prove it). Why would anyone need more than this straightforward solution? I had trays done by my dentist many years ago for hundreds of dollars. They worked well Recently they broke apart. These trays were simple to mold and fit just as well. I used less than recommended (only about 0.5 ml or less for both trays) 22% peroxide whitener. No burned gums, and my teeth have gone from noticeably yellow to much whiter in three 30 minute sessions. I can easily go more, but already I have achieved my goals with little effort and less then a week's time. I had no trouble molding them. They didn't stick or cause any issues. Such a great deal. And I was not paid to write this review.

I learned that its worth it to get the dentist made trays!
It was my first experience with these type of trays and at first it was kind of cool to be able to "custom" fit the trays. However that excitement quickly faded. I was lucky to have 3 trays because one of them became too hot and the silicon fused to itself making the piece not usable. I was able to somehow boil the other two just good enough to use. They say the piece isn't hot but it is because there's near boiling hot water still on the device. So I got them to fit and was excited to use the whitening gel. I did 22% Carbamide Peroxide for 30 minutes and noticed a big difference in shades. But those 30 minutes were filled with uncomfortableness! Despite the trays' slimness, they are still just too thick and clunky. It is hard to wear these for any amount of time. I had a large amount of saliva generated during that time and was worried about swallowing it due to the possible leak of the peroxide. So what does one do with all that? You can either swallow it with the peroxide, try to spit it out without losing the peroxide, or you can wad a bunch of tissue into your mouth. That is what I did and it was OK. Ultimately, I was able to whiten my teeth(one time) but the process made me want to go to the dentist to get an actual custom tray. I will not be using these cheap-o trays again. For the money, I guess you could say its worth it. But I just don't think its a good idea to use these because they don't actually fit perfectly to your teeth. I did get a burnt gum from the peroxide and I wondered if it had to do with the trays being deformed. I would not buy this again and in fact am going to the dentist tomorrow to get custom trays. There are some things that it is worth it to get the real thing. For me, my teeth are precious and I want to be able to have a professionally done cleaning and whitening. I thought the cheap route would be good enough and would save the hassle but now I think it would have been better to just take the hit and go to the dentist. Good luck!

Good price, easy to work with
I use those to make myself a mouth guard for sleeping. I only use a bottom (mandibular) guard, so one is enough. I use a heat gun to mold it to my teeth's shape (using a pre-made mold of my teeth) and then cut it to only cover the teeth (you don't want it rubbing on your gums as it will eventually wear them out). It works great and last a long time.

Doesn't mold well
I did not like these teeth whitening trays. I bought these because i forgot what brand that i bought last time i got whitening trays. They do not mold well and are very thick. I had to put the tray in the boiling water for longer than the instructions said because it took a long time to get them to actually mold. In addition, when they finally did mold, they were not clear, and the molding BARELY got the shape of my teeth even when i sucked the air out while i was pushing on it to mold it. I definitely will not buy these again! Note: I found the brand that worked very well the last time i used them --> Tooth Teeth Whitening Whitener Bleaching D.I.Y. 3 Trays& free tray case

Excellent, for the price!
First off, you should note that these do not come with instructions. So make sure you read the instructions from the product description. I used a small pan of boiling water, and holding the tab, held the tray in the water for about 5 seconds. "Sucking air from the tray" worked fairly well for doing the top tray, but not as much for the bottom. I found that sucking the tray and then pressing it into my teeth with my fingers worked better. These are re-moldable, and I actually re-dipped my top tray about three times before I felt like the fit was perfect. The trays do run a little small, and if you have wisdom teeth that are actually visible, these won't cover your very back teeth. I have a fairly small mouth, so these fit perfect for me, but someone with more mouth might not get full coverage. All in all, a great deal for three trays. Inexpensive, and not exactly professional quality, but perfect for on the budget teeth whitening. Works perfect with my whitening gel.

These work effectively as inexpensive teeth grinding guards
Don't spend a fortune on dentist customized tooth grinding guards. These will do the trick. I have tooth grinding problems and thought I really hurt my jaw. Before I considered tooth pulling I bought these and tried them out. It took a while to heal but after a few months of using these the problem went away. As a side benefit because they place a double barrier (top and bottom) between upper and lower teeth it 'trains' you to not clench your jaw during sleep. Tips to use: They 'melt' very quickly in very hot water so the trick is to boil water and only place in for a few seconds then fit in mouth pressing down with fingers to mold around teeth. This will need several cycles of this process to get a good fit and this trial and error process assures the trays will not melt and become worthless. These work and am very glad I tried them.
