These are ugly. I didn't even put them up. The chrome and the flame look so fake..

these candle sticks are crap, yes, crap. they shouldn't even be sold at the dollar store. I want to return them but I don't feel that they are worth the return shipping cost.

These dancing-flame taper/window candles are quite good for the price. I am quite pleased. The Remote + Candle features and modes are well done and good enough. They provide a slow, lazy, wavering behavior like an open-flame candle would given some slight, generalized air movement like people walking by, a nearby open window, circulating heat/cooling, or whatever + they throw an interesting pattern on the ceiling. The color of the flame is just fine by me - quite life-like. They would do well on a mantle or dinner table.as well as a window sill. I may paint the holders black or silver but that's just me. Recommended.

Worst purchase made from Amazon.....not exactly good looking but more than that they didn't last two weeks and the remote didn't even work that long, despite putting in new batteries.....more trouble than it was worth to send them back......would give a rating of minus one star if that was an option....
