Love this Paleo book for easy lunches & breakfast ideas!
I love this book! I don't claim to have gone Paleo, but I am working towards that idea and I have lost a few pounds heading that way! I take my lunch to work and sandwiches and carbs always end up in the mix. This book gave me a lot of ideas for lettuce wraps...I love the one with a piece of bacon, tomato and their easy home made mayo! Yum! The photos are great and inspire me to cook! Most of these recipes are easy and easy to pack! I highly recommend this book!

Not just for paleo--truly a great cookbook for anyone who loves good food!
The short version: If you're looking to expand your repertoire of interesting, delicious breakfast and lunch options beyond bacon and eggs and are comfortable spending a reasonable (not excessive!) amount of time preparing your food, you'll love this book. Don't hesitate! The longer version:Originally, I purchased the book just to support Diana. I was unsure if there was room in the market for such a niche book and wondered if I'd use it very much if at all. I've no problem eating dinner for breakfast and generally do. My mess of cookbooks generally provide plenty of options to keep us well fed with leftovers from dinner. However, when I finally had a chance to flip through the pages of this perfectly-sized, lie-flat volume, right away I knew that not only would I regularly be using this book, but also that ANYONE looking for healthier, whole foods options would enjoy it as well. Not only is this a great book for paleo foodie looking for breakfast and lunch (and dinner!) options, but I think this is a great book for foodies who are getting bored and need to inject some new ideas into breakfast and lunch. While there are some super quick ideas, many of the items do take some (generally minimal) prep time; it's reasonable for someone who knows their way around the kitchen.Trying to increase your produce intake? Here you go!Expanding your kitchen repertoire? You'll love it!Low-carb? This book is for you!Not low carb? This book is for you too! Just add a side of potato, rice or banana and you're set.Just need some REAL FOOD? Voila!Chapter 1 is quick wraps. I was surprised to see so many creative, tasty ideas throughout the 25 pages of the book dedicated to *quick* lettuce wraps. They all look amazing and contain combos I've never thought to put together like orange/avocado/herb chicken, lemon/chive/beet/boiled egg/, and some super creative spins on chicken salad. I thought I'd eaten every lettuce wrap combo known to humankind. Diana clarified that there are many delicious options still available.Next up: Cook-and-Run Paleo Wraps--wraps that require a little more prep like Cinnamon Beef in a Sweet Potato Pocket or Cajun Fish Po' Boy Wraps or Lamb Dosa Purses with Coconut Creme or Pulled Pork with Sauerkraut and Avocado and many, many more.Chapter 3 is salads. Chapter 4 is Office-Ready Soups and Stews. Up today: brazilian seafood stew.Chapter 5 is Busy Morning Breakfasts. Full of the make-ahead-then-reheat options. Though really, anything in the book could be made ahead and consumed. Cherry tarragon breakfast sausage? OMG. Bacon, lemon and greens egg muffins. I miss them and look forward to the day when I can freely eat egg whites.Other notes:Though I am currently following the autoimmune protocol (AIP, which excludes egg whites, nuts, seeds, included seed spices, nightshades), there are lots of recipes in Diana's book that I can use as is. Almost all of the remaining recipes can be adapted. How wonderful that so many of the recipes are free of eggs and nuts! Because Diana tends to focus equally on a variety of protein sources, this book really does offer new, interesting, yummy ideas for breakfast beyond eggs.If you're a foodie who doesn't mind a reasonable amount of prep time to make delicious food, and if you're comfortable with the idea of moving beyond traditional breakfast foods and will consider eating for breakfast from the wide variety of available options, then this is a GREAT book.

Finally - office-friendly Paleo lunch options!!!
This book offers a wide array of lunch options that anyone will love, not just those of us who are looking for Paleo options. Its real value, however, is in providing a compendium of flavor and ingredient combinations that can be used to create entirely different recipes...all of them quick, simple, and of course, paleo!!!

Great cookbook with easy, yummy recipes
I love the variety here. My son can't have bread anymore, so we all switched to eating Paleo/Keto. These recipes have proved invaluable for making the transition from bread sandwiches to lettuce roll ups. I make the mayonnaise recipe all the time now, and pack rollups for my son's lunch all the time. We have found every recipe we've tried to be very tasty.

Yum--A Fave
One of my favorite Paleo cookbooks. I like the ideas and all new Paleo folks know that breakfast is the toughest challenge when one goes grain free. This has nice ideas for breakfast and lunch that travel. They are not as easy as grabbing a box of cereal and carton of milk, but they are nice options and interesting flavor treats.

Gourmet lunch cook book
The recipes in here are mouthwatering. I have only made a few. I haven't figured out how to have all this stuff on hand to whip the lunches together, so figuring out the dinners where the leftovers come in will be more helpful. The cherry and tarragon sausages were easy and the best I have made. I really am glad I bought this book and it is inspiring to see into the author's farm life. She lives it. ps. I have been paleo for almost 3 years.
