This is a really cute Barbie & would make a great first Barbie for a little girl. She has a sweet smile, long honey brown hair & a flattering hot pink jumpsuit &boots. Here she is performing the part of a Paralympic medalist, but she’s adept at playing many other roles! For the body-swappers among us, her most valuable features are her gorgeous golden brown skin color & articulated body. She is not quite as flexible as the highly coveted & hard to find made-to-move yoga girl with the same skin tone - but close enough! (Her torso is molded, her ankles do not bend & her feet are flat. She can sit in a chair beautifully!) She makes a perfect match for many of the lighter skinned Black Barbies and the deeply tanned white Barbies, as well as many others. Highly recommended!

This barbie was going to be an articulated rebody for another doll of the same skin tone, but I fell in love with this one's hair, face sculpt, and face print! The accessories and outfit and surprisingly good quality too. I haven't seen many barbie helmets that have an adjustable visor like this. She's a beautiful doll for a rebody or to enjoy as she is!

This doll is beautiful! She has a very pretty face mold, clear face paint that isn't pixilated, very long hair, and she's poseable! To get all that in a "budget" playline doll is very impressive, and makes her very giftable! Plus her accessories are unique and cool; Paralympic skier isn't one of the usual Barbie careers! If you're a customizer like me and do body swaps, she's also valuable because she has one of the most common skin tones out there. She's not fully made to move, but she is poseable enough that it's a lot nicer than the rigid Fashionista body. The only downside is that her ski chair can't stay upright on its own--I thought it would be a really cool way to display her on the shelf instead of a stand, but alas, it tips over. I might order another one so I can keep one for myself!

My granddaughter is learning how to ski. This Barbie was great for Christmas and gave us an opportunity to discuss the different types of skiiers she may see. It also helps her realize that physical limitations don’t always have to keep you from doing things you love. The price was great on Amazon!

It will be on display. I put the helmet on and after maybe five minutes of it on her face it left little marks. The marks (kind of) went away after a little.

My brother is disabled and wheelchair bound. It's so nice to see Barbie's representing everyone and the fact that you can be and do anything! My 4-year-old was really pleased and happy to see a differently enabled Barbie. :)
