Vegetable Stew Blend Certified Gluten Free

I’ve been buying dehydrated veggies for years, and dehydrating my own. , I like making quick cups of soups with a little scoop of dehydrated veggies, but other mfg always add too many parsley flakes…this is the main reason I chose Augason Farms stew veggie mix, they use cabbage flakes, no parsley flakes…..wow….what a difference in taste, Augason Farms veggies are very sweet tasting….never had dehydrate veggies taste this good before…. Im assuming Augason farms stew veggies are feeeze dried, however, the bucket is not marked identifying the drying process…..they call it stew veggies, so I thought they’d be bigger chunks, but nope…..real small in size just like all the other brands. Size must be the industry standard. There is nothing standard about the Augason farm veggie flavor though, it’s superb.

Ordered the #10 first and tried it, AWESOME stuff. Augason Farms products are very high quality. The Black Bean mix is very versatile, add a can of salmon or tuna for fish burgers, use in a burrito, or just sprinkle on top of a salad. great along side eggs too. Would imagine it could be turned into a soup too with some bullion and other veggies added. Started with the #10 can and as soon as the bucket went on sale, jumped on it. Only one thing I would ask that the company would change is to pack the bucket in Qt or gallon bags within the bucket for easier multiple uses........But HIGHLY recommend.

We have used Augason farms products before and they are always good. We repackaged the veggies in one cup bags for ease of use. 54 cups in each pail. Equals to 4 servings per cup. Good value.

Was going to put back and use later, but seeings how the bucket had broke open and some of the contents had spilled out, thought we may as well taste it. One of the previous reviews was right, these are all very tiny pieces. For a quick taste we added some seasonings and it was okay. If you cook in chicken or beef broth, and maybe add some meat and some good seasoning it will get you by in a pinch, will probably even taste good in an emergency....but not as gratifying as having actual, maybe like 3/4 inch or one inch pieces of the different veggies.

It is Augason Farms, what more is there to say. Good quality big price tag hope we never have to actually eat this.......
