My kids absolutely loved this train. It is battery operated and it has only 2 options - forward and backward. It goes slow and steady. The train works with our existing wooden tracks. It just needs a little bit of tweaking to get it right. If you make too many curves it falls off the tracks. We made it go around the fire station and it worked great. It can also go up and down small slopes, and also carry more wagons. Their simple train track became a cool motorized train.

Fit perfectly on our IKEA train set. The noises are fun and it will pull an impressive amount of cars up the hill. Batteries last for a good amount of time; be warned though it will continue to run if it falls over and that will drain the batteries quickly. Great toy, easy to use, and has made our two year old a train conductor.

Mighty little train! Fits on Ikea train tracks and can also pulls additional cars. A must for all who have Ikea tracks. Lots of fun for kids and adults too.

This would be 5 stars if the screw for the battery compartment was a regular screw. It’s some weird size and they send a screwdriver that barely works. But once I got the batteries in… we love this train! It works great on the wooden train tracks we have which are a Melissa and Doug set and a bunch of other miscellaneous wooden track sets. It pulls our other magnetic cars well, it stays on the track well too! The noises are cool and not too loud and I love that it makes some train noises when you first turn it on and then stops, so when it is going around and around our Christmas tree it’s not making a bunch of noise. Both my four year old and one year old enjoy the train.
