Great size for my tank. I wish it were a tad less pricy but I know it’s going to be a reliable hood that will last a lifetime and I’m never going to have to worry about whether or not I can find bulbs that fit it since every pet store carries ZooMed stuff. The fixture comes with a bulb when you buy it so all I had to do was plug it in and turn it on once I got it out of the box. Easy peasy! As an aside, I was very pleasantly surprised by how compact and light this fixture is! This makes it extremely easy for transportation between moves which is a big plus for me.
