I bought this for my 2 month old but the nails are too this I would recommend this product for toddlers or an adult to carry on them. If you have patience you could slowly use this on baby

These are so easy to use for little babies. I feel like it just melts away their nails. We use ours all the time and I always give them as a gift at baby showers.

These are really small and straight to the point. It was good for when I was in the hospital those first nails that are close to his skin so I didn’t want to use a filing machine that may have been too much. But as he gets older and his nails become firmer these require a lot more effort to get his nails down to a non sharp size. I’ve also already lost 2 of these. So overall I’d recommend for the first newborn week or two

these are perfect for doing little finger and toenails

I got these to file my 9 months old nails, I think they’d work great for little babies but by 9 months the nails are too thick to file. I just end up trimming them and using these to kinda take the sharpness down a little bit. So I still get use out of them, but not in the way I thought.

I know some people absolutely dread trimming their baby's nails. Well, I don't. It just doesn't bother me at all, so I trim my daughter's nails with a clippers whenever they get long enough that she is inflicting pain on myself and my husband when she grabs our faces, however, about 2 days after trimming her nails, they were like knives. It hurt so much😭. Now I use these little files to smooth them out after trimming and it is a night and day difference. Thanks for saving our faces (and our sanity)

Child tolerates and so far i haven’t noticed decline in quality

I really wanted to like these baby nail files so that I wouldn't feel like I wasted money opening the package... 2 stars because the package arrived promptly and the nail files were in tact. I'm upset that I don't think I can get a refund since they're not worth the price.Sure, they filed my newborn's nails, but barely. If anything, they actually damaged/split one of the nails even though I filed in one direction and was not aggressively filing. My baby nail clippers did a better job, even at rounding out the corners. Save your money and get a nail file that actually does a good job, or gain confidence, adaptability and patience with using nail clippers after you washed your baby and while they're asleep.
