Works ad described.
Works as described. I like that I can see what's going on with the app on my phone. It's easy to read and use. I use a screen recording app on my phone so I can keep a video log of the results in case something seems wonky. It also lets my Doctor visualize by looking at the stored data what's going on. This is by NO MEANS meant to be used in a real medical situation but will provide some kind of baseline information of what's going on before it's too late. What's better, with the app and Bluetooth feature my wife can monitor it from her phone in another room in a case where I am asleep. I do recommend this meter.

This thing is great!
I've had for over a year now and it's great. The charge lasts a long time with regular use. I'm not sure how it would last for a nurse or someone that works in the hospital that would use it for hours at a time. It charges quickly though, so for a medical professional, I would recommend purchasing two to have a second one as a backup.

Reasonably accurate, easy to set up and use …
I have both COPD and asthma and need to monitor my O2 several times a day. I need a pulse oximeter that is consistent and accurate.I purchased this two months ago, and it seems to work just fine. It was easy to set up with the app. I had to change the warning settings for abnormal readings (easy to do via the “device settings” button in the app) from the original settings of 95% for O2 and 60 for pulse. My normal O2 ranges from 92-96%, and normal pulse is in the 45-55bpm range, so I set the O2 at 90% and pulse at 50. The alarm on my unit doesn’t beep even though I have that feature turned “”on” — it just flashes — but I don’t consider that a problem. I’ve taken it to my pulmonary rehab sessions and my last doctor appointment and the readings are within 1-2% of the readings I get in both of those settings.I like having a history of my readings to share with my pulmonologist during my quarterly visits. And it seems to hold a charge nicely. No serious issues with this. It’s working OK so far.

Awesome for the money!
I depend on additional oxygen to keep my pulse ox at a safe level. I have a reli on pulse oximeter that requires two AAA batteries, it does not keep records, and does not record the perfusion index. I paid $35 for that one. This Smilecare unit for under $20 is a powerful accurate medical tool. I compared the readings to my reli on pulse oximeter, and the one my doctor uses, and they agreed with each other. The smilecare pulse oximeter provides more information than any pulse oximeter you will buy at Walmart or the drugstore. As well as your pulse ox, your pulse rate, it also provides the perfusion index, which is a measurement of how well the blood is flowing at your test site. And then this unit goes much further : you can connect it to your tablet or phone, and record your pulse ox information over a period of time. There is one more good thing that all of the other pulse oximeters that I have had do not have. This pulse oximeter is rechargeable. Since I have to test so often, I go through a lot of AAA batteries.Oh, I almost forgot, you can set the brightness on the screen so that you can save batteries, it also has an alarm that you can set that will warn you when your pulse oximetry falls below a certain level. On top of that, it is very slender and very comfortable on my finger. It is comfortable even if you have to wear it for an extended period of time. I wish there were more spaces for me to write more I have more to say.

App Changed.. cannot log in
The first few months everything worked fine but all of a sudden I cannot log into the app that has kept up with my data that I show my doctor.I can no longer login and it shows it to be in the Google Play store but when I look in the Google Play store it doesn't show that it even exists now. When I scan the QR code it takes me to their list of medical supplies to purchase not the app. The only app I can get to is where I cannot log in and it looks generic. And and none of my past data is available. So I do still have the oximeter which works fine but I don't have any data saved. It allows me to log in with my phone number but I cannot get rid of the first two digits plus 86 which is a totally different country. It will not allow me to delete those. Therefore I cannot log in.I cannot get any assistance either. I'm email support and I've commented on their medical supplies app. I suggest purchasing one that's made in America.

This item does not have a working app.
The device really works well, but if you are buying it to keep track of your blood oxygen level, DON’T buy this device. My levels have become dangerous low after a diagnosis of pulmonary fibrosis. While testing and my doctor are trying to find how to treat this, I need to keep track of the test results to give my doctor the variance in my levels. But searching for this “app” gives you nothing but an app in Chinese/Japanese or one of those non American languages. Since this is sold on Amazon, I would imagine most of the buyers want an English language app. But I could be wrong.
