All things sous vede in pots I already own.
It is a bit odd to set up and program. After a few mistakes on my part, I understood the program sequence. It worked well. I've only used twice. I will update after more uses.

DEAD IN 6 MONTHS
Uodate: DEAD IN 6 MONTHS. GARBAGE.Upgraded from "hate" to "meh" after some use. I've been using a sous vide for 2 years now, and this one is terrible. The controls suck. God forbid you ever lose the manual and forget how to operate it, because it counter intuitive. Wouldn't order it again, but it works well enough for the price.

Great budget sous vide circulator, but unnecessarily difficult to program.
This is my second sous vide device. I have had the Anova Wifi for a couple years, and I absolutely love it. This was intended to be a backup. I bought it for a very reasonable price of ~$25 on Amazon. Good luck finding an immersion Sous Vide circulator for that price! The temperature is accurate, as checked with both a laser thermometer and my other sous vide device. I do like that it tells you how long something has been cooking at temperature. I took off one star, because the controls are unnecessarily difficult to use. To switch between Celcius and Fahrenheit, you need to hold both the Power and C/F buttons. What? Why not just press the C/F button? Oh. The C/F button is reserved for stopping the annoying beeping that starts when the water reaches the target temperature. What? Why? Why does it have to beep when reaching temperature? Why can't I turn that "feature" off? It also beeps incessantly once the cook time runs out as well. Very, very annoying.Other than the confusing buttons, it generally works well for what it is supposed to do, which is cook my food perfectly and consistently each time. You can rely on it for that reason.

Inexpensive but also super cheap.
This is the third brand of immersion circulator I've owned and it's my least favorite. It is loud as heck and has been from day one. It sounds like a bearing has gone bad in the impeller. It sounds like someone running a small outboard motor in my kitchen.Every time it turns on it resets it back to centigrade, which is annoying.

Loved it until it broke
I loved this device until it broke. It wasn't the most user friendly, but I was able to figure it out even after putting the manual away and cook vegetables and meat in it properly. I made THE BEST meal I ever made using it when my boyfriend returned from a long work trip and I made a welcome home dinner for him. I used it in large pots and also in the sink, making sure to keep it properly immersed. About 5-10 uses in, it would not heat up to chicken or vegetable cooking temperatures. I can still heat steak up to medium before searing it, but that requires a lower heat. It doesn't seem to be circulating the water as well or heating it as well. It sounds different when it runs. I forgot to sign up for the warranty, so I'm writing a review instead.

Don't waste your time or money
Stopped working after 2 weeks. Obviously this is a trend. Keep reading the reviews. Wish I had. Number 2 still broken. This one didn't even work once. This item is junk and Amazon offers very little in what they will do to make it right. If you buy one, be prepared for an Amazon "Expert" to read you the troubleshooting instructions directly from the same manual you have in front of you, before sending you another broke one and then acting like you're trying to steal from them when you ask for a refund.
