It is a must have if you are cooking for a large event!
I cook burgers on an eight burner Royal Gourmet open top grill. Usually around 35 burgers at a time. Season and cook burgers and place in aluminum pans. Poor beef broth over them to keep moist for hours and adds flavor. We cooked 900 burgers in about four hours. Put them in pans with a little broth poured over, doesn’t take just a whole lot, about a third to half a bottle to a big pan of burgers. Then we put them in a warmer. We were still serving four hours later and burgers were nice and moist and flavorful. This is a large piece of equipment. Fairly easier to assemble. Easy to move around on wheels once assembled. Propane tank holders on both end are sturdy and holds the bottles well. Easy to clean. I bought a cover to cover a blackstone large griddle kitchen. Covers it well even with end trays in upright position.

Nice, big grill after tideous assembly
The grill came well packaged and undamaged. The assembly instructions were just pictures and very vague. Nothing was written at all. From past experience assembling similar items, you need to leave the bolts loose so that all the pieces fit together as they should. If someone’s assembling this and tightening all the bolts then it becomes very difficult as a lot of the pre-drilled holes won’t line up properly. The assembly took somewhat longer than the 45 to 50 minutes the instructions said it would take. It took me a little over two hours, but I was taking my time and then re-tightening all the bolts. Once it was assembled, it rolls easily and we placed it on our front deck. We’ve used it about four times now, all the burners light easily, the heat distribution is very good and it cooks quickly. I have to keep it on the lowest setting for items like hotdogs and sausage , and just slightly up from that for chicken and burgers. We are planning on having a family reunion this summer and this grill will work wonderfully as cooking surface is huge. The cover from Royal gourmet only fits this grill with the side shelves folded down and the propane tanks taken off of the holders on the side. And it’s a little snug as well. I returned that cover and got a larger one, but it was too big and hung to the floor too far. That was returned and I found another one, and it works great, the ‘Blackstone 36" Culinary Griddle with Hood 76.6-in W x 36-in H Black Flat Top Grill Cover’. I know it’s made by a different company and not specifically for this grill, but I can put this on my grill while the propane tanks are on the attached brackets and the shelves folded down until they touch the top of the propane tanks. That way I can move my grill with the tanks attached and the cover on as needed and it’s very convenient. I was glad I ordered this grill, although some of the reviews gave me cause for concern. Once everything is fully tightened, the grill is very solid and feel sturdy. We always use heavy duty foil over the grill rack to prevent grease from going down onto the drip pan, I’ve always thought that will extend the life of a grill. If you were on the fence about this purchase, I would recommend it. I said nothing but good luck with it so far.

Replacement Church BBQ, 2 year review
Why did you pick this product vs others?: ONE YEAR LATER! I bought this for my church as a replacement for one bought at Costco over 15 years ago. I compared this one to other commercial/restaurant grade one costing several times more and based on the reviews took a risk hoping I would get one with "all the parts" and "nothing damaged" upon arrival. So far, so good. It took me about 2 hours to assemble this grill and I was pleasantly surprised at how well it went together. NOT tightening all the screws until you're ready for final assembly is GOOD ADVICE. That said, I really wish that the metal for lower cart portion was thicker. I'd happily pay more for a grill of this size. Also, the small tabs that hold the flavorizing plates (flame tamers) in place, are a serious week point. At some point I'm expecting to install small sheet metal screws to serve the same purpose once they start breaking off. Why the company doesn't just stamp a ridge or a bump into the metal to hold them in place, I don't know. After each use, I put these plates in dish washer to keep them clean and extend their life. So far, that is paying off. The burners are seriously HOT. You have to adjust it down to nearly the lowest setting in order to not sear everything you're cooking. Costco frozen burger patties and any kind of hotdog cook VERY fast on this thing! The folding side tables are GREAT! But I do wish you did not have to remove the tanks in order to fold them away completely. Plus the removable grease trays and grease catch cup are FANTASTIC for clean up and make it very easy. Be certain to take advantage of this in between uses I do wish a warming rack, that sat on the top of the wind shields, either came with it or was available. This would be a great accessory. I am planning on replacing the gas tank hoses with longer ones so that I can use a Y attachment (with a gauge)... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07RGYDTKQ https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07W4JX6QS ...and use one tank of propane at a time. Overall, its a decent grill for the what I paid. I wish some things were better, thicker, or better designed, but it works and you can cook a ton of food on it at once. It's great for large parties and groups. How well it stands up over time, we'll see. I'm hoping to get at least 5 years of church BBQs out of it. Just finished YEAR 2 of my Church BBQs: Its holding up OK. Definitely check the tightness of the screws if you have to roll it any distance of more than about 50ft. from season to season. I really wish it had better wheels, it sounds like its coming apart just rolling it over fairly smooth concrete. One issue it has is that it leaks grease in a weird way. We usually cook burgers on side and hot dogs or sausage on the other. The burger side has grease leaking down the rear leg and I'm still trying to figure out why. Maybe its a leveling problem. In the meantime, we put a wet rag at that corner of the grill to soak up leaking grease. I really wish it had a hard cover of some kind. I'm getting sick of the custodians piling junk on top of it when its being stored, so maybe I'll make something out of plywood. It's still seriously hot and cooks anything really fast. I am glad that they included a few spare screws as I've already has to replace one just from rolling it back and forth from its storage shed over to our gathering area.

superior grill and features
high quality materials. Heavy gauge grates and flare bars. The wheels are industrial style. 80 hamburgers at a time is a great help for large parties. 200 hotdogs easily. The grease trays are easy to remove and clean. lots of extra shelves on both sides and underneath are genius. We bought the same brand cover which is great and a must to keep your investment clean during storage. Easy to put together and easy instructions.
