Lime Crime Unicorn Hair Dye (Sour Candy)

The packaging is good and the smell is so good but didn’t dye my hair at all !! And it’s smaller than i expected and for it’s price it’s so disappointing ...

LOVE LOVE LOVE the color! It’s hard to explain but it’s neon at the same time soft pink, very unique. I have platinum blond hair with medium blond roots, the roots just have a tint of pink, so i think for this color you need to have bleached hair, otherwise it won’t show it’s full potential.

Color: Chocolate CherryFull disclosure, I used to color my hair blue black. From like I was a teenager to up to 3 years ago (Feb 2021 was the last time I permanently colored my hair black). I have medium brown hair and some white hairs, specially at the front of my face.I have used overtone in black to help minimize the drastic change between my virgin hair and my colored hair. I loved it. It is very nourishing.I wanted to dye my hair without the chemicals (permanent dye had really damaged my hair). Give it a little change. I have lot of hair and it is very long; I knew I would need a whole bottle of what ever I chose. I found this, which is cheaper than the most popular.As you can see it came beautiful. I really, really love the resulting color. I was aiming for something like this. It even colored my white hairs. They look freakishly pink lolDefinetly use gloves! I used them when applying the dye, but when I got in the shower to rinse I opted out of them. As you can see it really stained my nails. It also stained my shower. However a bit of clorox cleaning spray took care of the problem.The reason why it is 4 out of 5 stars. I did not feel like it condition my hair at all. In fact it felt dry, as if I had used permanent hair color. I used shampoo and conditioner, and at the end I opted on using a conditioning mask too. Now that my hair is no longer wet it feels a bit dry and and I don't think is as shiny as it was.The instructions said that you can keep it in the hair for up to 2 hours. I kept it for about 1.5. Maybe leave it for less?Not sure if I will purchase again, the whole reason why I chose not to use permanent hair dye was because I didn't want my hair to dry out. It did.

Absolutely love Lime Crime Unicorn hair. Really super vibrant colours. Easy to apply. Has left my hair beautifully soft.

This was my first attempt at temporary dye for my kids hair. I used this on my 9 and 7 year olds who have light brown hair. Te color turned out turquoise instead of blue because of their hair color but it was still very bright. I used a brush to apply it in sections like the directions said and let it sit for 30 minuets. It was gradually washed out of my sons hair by week 4 and is still in my daughters hair but lighter than what it started at. If you want it out of the hair faster using hair gel seems to speed up the process of getting it out. We will definitely ffinitly be getting this again in different colors.

Ok random photo yes, but thats my hair 2 WEEKS after dying it. I normally don't leave reviews but this stuff is crazy good. It hasn't faded at all!!! I shower at least once a day and always get my hair wet when I shower, and I wash my hair once a week. The only con is that it does run, but thats to be expected, and it's not as bad as some dyes I’ve used. This is my favorite dye, and this is my new go to brand, I’ve been recommending it to everyone!! Thank you!!

I LOVE this shade. Very true to the shade on the bottle. It's very very cute. I left it to sit for 3 hours before rinsing and this usually buys me a couple washes before my semi permanents start to fade, but unfortunately this color faded a ton with only one wash. It faded almost like pastels fade. I was surprised by this since it was listed as full coverage and not a tint. Kind of a bummer because I love the shade, but can't practically keep it this color. I have chest length hair and usually need a ton of dye to saturate, but 1.5 bottles was more than enough for me. Overall, love the shade so much, but on my hair it faded very quickly.
