This product works as advertised. I brought it as a gift for a friend. Now she will be able to sleep easier knowing that here motel room is more secure.

Ear piercing sound, which is what you would want if they were activated. I keep these in a travel bag and use them in hotels when I'm on the road. Extra security and peace of mind. Seems to be well built.

Would have given a 5 but beware if your door bottom is higher than 3/4 inch, may not make contact. Easy to use and very loud. I recommend

Purchased these door stop alarms for a bit of extra security and protection. These are pretty effective door stop alarms when used properly. Installation: Install a 9 volt battery, set the sensitivity level from low, medium or high, turn from off to on, then sit the door stop directly under the door gap as close to the door as possible without pushing down on the stop plate which will activate the alarm. All in all a great little alarm that will definitely wake you up if someone tries to enter through the door, and yes it will stop the door from opening, the door stop has pretty good grip at least on wood flooring. This door stop is not going to fully stop someone from getting through the door if they are determined enough to do so, but this door stop alarm will definitely give you enough time to wake up and be prepared if needed.

Bought for my daughter and her first apartment. Battery a little wonky to get in. Don’t be afraid to smash it down in there. Alarm on medium sensitivity was triggered as soon as door barely opened. Alarm was quite loud. Sturdy construction for intended use. Easy to install and remove as needed. Can adjust sensitivity to low, medium, or high. Feel better knowing she has these.

It lasted me for about 2 years without having to change the battery but... it just recently went out and even with a replaced battery it never came back on. I gave my mom one and hers went out not too long after I gave it to her within the first year. It still was worth it it's very loud.

This is an incredible product!! The sound is super loud, it has great grip and doesn't slide when a door is opened!! It made me feel incredibly safe and I highly recommend this product!!!

Wow! These work! I wanted something just a little “extra” to make me feel a little safer when home alone. I placed one of these at my front door and my back door and I can not open the door with these stopping the door from opening and then the added alarm that goes off when used with the batteries is a plus! I also bought another set for my daughter that just rented her first apartment and this gives me a little extra sense of security for her as well. A good buy!

Not useful. It's better to purchase motion sensor.
