It is great book on history of Greater Azerbaijani and Oghuz nations
This is a great book, which provide insight about Oghuz nations living in Greater Azerbaijan. It provides information on the two chamber parliamentarian (kurultay of Ich and Dish Oghuz clans) system of the Turkic nations, the democratic election of King (Kagan). The equal role of women along the men in the family and society. Men and women fight along against the common enemies. I recommend it!

Stories of a turbulent past.
This is a classic (read very old) Turkish work: I bought it because of my interest in the epic form of literature. It consists of a cluster of stories, all of which involve the same characters--a tribal chieftain, and the men of his court. It is set in eastern Turkey, the Caucasus, and north-western Iran, during a turbulent and violent period.
