Very nice paper in this price range.. perfect for wet on wet techniques.. thanks Amazon for perfect packaging and prompt delivery..I am planning to buy a couple of these for practice..

I wanted 100% cotton paper which this is, but when I tried it last night realised it is a very textured, pretty rough surface, so you need to use a lot of water or else the paint stays on the surface in a broken way as if you're painting on wax or something, but that's the way rough cotton paper works. So for those used to working on this surface, it's good.In subsequent layers or if you go back and paint over the first go, the water behaves more predictably. I would Not recommend this for a beginner watercolourist.I wanted paper on which to play with loose style watercolour splashing about, for which this paper is not suitable. It needs care and expertise to use well.

This is a good watercolour paper. Quite thick and textured. It handles wet on wet pretty well. I’m quite happy.
