8” Stainless Steel WeatherShield Chimney Cap TDW for Air Cooled Chimney Pipe

Over all well made and solid. My chimney flue is 8.5” so the size I bought was 8” which fit perfectly. The flange (sleeve) is a tad larger but can retract down to 8” for 8” flues. Rockford Chimney Supply was very helpful in helping me order the correct one. Great service.

Got this for mother in law who heats with wood. Her chimney cap was 50 years old, banged up and ugly, she wanted to brighten things up. The new one fits great, works great, and will simplify chimney cleaning since the top of the cap removes and the top bracket swivels out of the way. Funny how something simple like this can make a big difference for a person -- she is thrilled with it!

Very easy to install with the spring type action of the insert pipe. The only improvement I can suggest is that there is almost no overlap between the outside wall of a triple wall pipe and the new cap.
