I purchased it back in 2017, and I’m impressed that it’s still working perfectly after all these years. I originally bought it for my mother to monitor her levels at home. To be safe, we occasionally bring it along to her doctor’s appointments to compare the results with their professional equipment, it consistently matches their readings and proves to be very accurate. It’s been a reliable health tool for our family for over 6 years.

This is a nice addition to my first aid bag. For the price it is a nice tool for assessment. The quality is on par with the price. It works and is accurate. If this is something you will use everyday I would say pay extra for something more durable. For sporadic use it's great. For use at a job I dont think it would stand up to that sort of use. Just my opinion. Not knocking the product. It is nice for the price. Used it for my dad who had pneumonia and was sent home on oxygen. He kept taking the oxygen off, I got it so he could actually see what was happening when he did that. He was more component with using his oxygen when I told him he should not let his oxygen level go below 92%. It made more sense to him why he should not take o2 off. This was just for home use and was fine and did the job I wanted it to do.

This item was pretty neat. Although it skipped around regarding various readings, the times were different and I ate food in the meantime. So I might expect different readings. The scale read was aimed towards another person, kinda hard for me to read, but you just bend your finger and read it, that's all. Batteries come with it, and I've read the reviews that say it's convenient if you warm your finger first. No nail polish, or fake nails either, please. Makes the readings difficult. You must press a button to get it to work, I would have thought it works by insertion, but no. The heart rate monitor works by a bar scale, not a graph, so that'as non linear, too. The other readings, PRbpm (Pulse Rate blood pressure monitor), and %SpO2, (Percent Spectrum Oxygen, reads by LED) are numerical, not too hard to read. Make sure to install the ribbon to hang it around your neck, or remember to replace it back in the case, safely, as it is small and could get misplaced easily. I thought black was better than white or other colors, as much less light will creep in to the reading part. Pretty neat. For the price and function, I like it.

My brother, a cardiac surgeon, recommended this specific oximeter. It's very easy to use and very easy to read. I like the fact that it came with a little case made of thick Cordura-type material with a Velcro closure. I don't need the strap, but I attached it anyway. The strap doesn't fit easily into the case, but it can be crammed in. It's inexpensive enough to buy as a gift for others. I would buy this again.

Works as advertised. Develops an accurate reading within a few seconds. Quality materials and workmanship. I would recommend this purchase to others and I consider it a good value for the money.
