Great mouse - very light and glides nicely. Lighting looks very good and comes with a nice braided cable. Haven’t tested the Bluetooth, as for the 2.4G mode it is very responsive and I feel no difference to my old wired mouse. It is easy to map the 3 extra buttons to whatever using the steelseries engine, as well as configure the lighting. The battery life is on the shorter side - it is clear they prioritised a lower weight over battery, as depending on usage and settings it can run out quickly. However it works perfectly well plugged in and charging. Lastly, this hasn’t been a problem for me but if crumbs or debris were to make it inside the mouse, to disassemble it and remove them you’d have to remove the mouse feet which from a repairability standpoint is disappointing, as battery replacements will similarly need to do this. Also if you’re left handed like I am, this mouse is almost symmetrical apart from the side buttons, so is suitable for left handed use.

However, a caveat looms in the form of a misleading battery life claim. The Aerox 3 excels in the gaming arena, boasting a responsive sensor and low latency, ensuring a seamless experience during intense gaming sessions. Its wireless capability, particularly through Bluetooth, adds a layer of convenience for those who prioritize cord-free gaming, however I do not use this and instead use their wireless dongle provided in the box. I recommend the Bluetooth connectivitiy for casual use, such as browsing the internet or working. Designed with comfort in mind, the mouse offers a satisfying grip, accommodating both palm and claw grip users. The well-thought-out shape and weight distribution contribute to a comfortable and precise control experience. Yet, the shine is somewhat dulled by a discrepancy in the stated battery life. While SteelSeries boldly declares a 200-hour battery life, this claim only holds true when utilizing Bluetooth. Those relying on the wireless dongle will find themselves reaching for the charger sooner, with a battery life of approximately 70 hours. Despite this hiccup, the SteelSeries Aerox 3 Wireless Snow (2022) remains a top choice for gamers seeking a potent blend of performance and comfort. Its versatility in accommodating different grip styles ensures a broad appeal. Potential buyers, however, should be cautious and consider the actual battery life based on their usage patterns. If for example, your previous mouse was a Logitech G Pro Wireless or G303 (Shroud Edition) then the battery life will be extremely noticeable.

The Aerox 3 wireless is an incredible value for money buy, its not only one of the lightest wireless mice you can buy, it has one of the best shapes on the market and has battery to boot. The advertised battery life of 200 hours is in Bluetooth mode ONLY, which needs to be made more clear, however the actual battery life whilst using the 2.4GHz (which is recommended for gaming) is an incredible 80 hours of use which is the longest of all the lightweight wireless mice. Along side the huge battery it comes with USB-C fast charging, which not only gets you back in the game quickly it's also a high quality paracord like cable. This cable means it feels as close to wireless as possible, other, more expensive mice still use old thick rubber cabling which definitely hampers the experience whilst charging. The build quality is exceptional as per usual for Steelseries including an IP54 rating with 80m TTC Gold switches that are one my new favourites, no creaks with the shell, however the DPI button can be activated whilst unnaturally holding the top and bottom of the mouse and squeezing (I dont see any moment when you would hold a mouse like this), this cannot be reproduced by pushing on the mouse into a pad. A few areas where people have had problems with the Aerox is the feet included and the sensor placement, the feet shape is an unconventional circle, with one in each corner, there are reports of scratching and lint build up over time, I personally have experienced none of these problems and found them to have a great glide, being one of the best stock feet I've used. The sensor is also unconventional in it being placed back further than most, the one time I have noticed this being an issue is if you lift from the front first as it will track for slightly longer than normal due to the sensor staying closer to the pad for longer. Otherwise from general use I had no problems with tracking or flicking when compared to mice with a more conventional placement. Overall: If you love the rival 3 shape, you want wireless, you want lightweight, its a no brainer. If you have not tried the rival 3 and are unsure about the shape, its great for all grip styles, with a strength in claw and a good size for fingertip for all hand sizes, if you palm I can recommend it for smaller-medium hands, large hands may not find it wide enough. Grips and sizes aside, its a feature packed mouse, with great build quality and comparable specs to mice that are 1.5 times the price, at £100 its a steal.

Better than any wired mouse I have used. The Aerox 3 has a long lasting battery life, there's zero latency for me making it responsive and quick to use, the bluetooth connection is seamless and connects within a second or two of switching it on. Accurate when I used it with my PS5 to play video games, and all round a really lightweight and perfect mouse for the price.

Wireless is now as lag-free as wired, so for me if you find a good mouse and it's on sale, snipe it. Furthermore, because I also have a heavier mouse that I use in parallel on my work pc, I can tell you that the weight makes a huge difference on how quickly I fatigue during gaming sessions or even work. This is a joy to toss around and it feel like an actual extension of my arm.

- Shape & Material This mouse is two times as expensive as the Razer Mamba Wireless. I loved the shape of the Mamba. It fits the hand so well. Now with the Aerox 3, the shape doesn't fill the palm that well, but its matte texture is on point. I prefer a smooth or lightly textured finish on larger mouses and a matte finish on smaller mouses. The matte finish on this mouse makes up for the flat form. - Battery Life The battery life on this device is much better than Mamba Wireless. I hated having to charge the Mamba Wireless every two or three days. That mouse always runs out of battery when I'm editing a video or working. So, this mouse is a lifesaver for me. - Weight I could immediately tell how light the mouse is when I picked up the Amazon package. It almost felt like an empty plastic packaging in my hand. I knew it was going to be very light but I didn't imagine it to be this light. Mindblowing! - Switches The mechanical switches feel just as solid as the Rival 650, which is another mouse that I really like from SteelSeries. I have nothing to complain about this mouse. It completely exceeded my expectations for it. This is my first superlight mouse. I haven't tried the G Pro X Superlight yet so I can't tell if the Logitech alternative is any better. For now I'm really happy with the purchase.

Nice light weight wireless mouse. My Main at the moment. Having used the RaZer viper mini and the cooler masters mm710 mm711 and the newer one too. Was using the Logitech 304 and realized that wireless mice are way better then wired ones. Got this Aerox on sale while waiting for the Logitech g pro super light to arrive from Amazon USA. The ptfe feet are good and no issues with it scratching so far My first sreelseries was the rival 500 and I loved it Recommended dearly
