This is a pretty large towel - it is very absorbent and will not tangle or cause your hair to frizz. I bought it when I decided to let my hair go curly, so I wanted to stop using a regular towel. This one is totally smooth, so it doesn't have loops to catch on your hair or your jewelry. The edges are unfinished, just cut raw, but I've had it for about 6 months and it has not unraveled at all. I wash it with my regular towels and its fine - looks like new. I took it with me on a trip a few weeks ago and I was able to roll it up into t tiny roll and tuck it into my suitcase where it took up almost no room.The closure is an elastic band with a toggle on it. you can use it by flipping your head upside down and twisting and then securing at the back of your head, or even going the other way, twisting and securing at the front. Works great for microplopping as well.I love it.I'd like to get another to use when giving the dog a bath.

This light microfiber towel makes it much faster to dry my below-should-length wavy hair naturally. It leaves my hair smoother and shinier than other towels.After I shower, I wrap my hair briefly in a waffle textured towel to get most of the water, then I wrap my hair in this light towel. I leave my damp hair rolled up for about 20 minutes. If I’ll be going out, I leave my hair in this towel while eating breakfast or doing my makeup. Then I apply modest amounts of leave-in detangler and curly hair product, comb my hair, and let it dry naturally. Depending upon the temperature, this takes less than an hour, which I appreciate since I hate using a hair dryer.If I’m going to bed after washing my hair, I lie down with the towel twisted into the turban shape. Then I later spread my hair out over my pillow to dry the rest of the way.

I've had mine for over 3 years and it's still going strong! I have thick, waist length hair and I'm able to fit all of it in the towel. The material feels great - like the microfiber cloths used to clean glasses. It doesn't feel scratchy at all or like it will cause hair to break. I can go around the house after a shower doing chores and don't have to worry about it falling off. I have waist-length heavy hair that holds onto water and am always looking for new and better ways to get it dry (as I don't blow-dry except in the coldest winter). This towel's fabric is extremely thin - picture opaque tights texture, but less stretch - and you definitely wouldn't expect it to soak up hardly any water, but it does. At least for my hair, this fabric works even better than the classic microfiber, and is on a par with an Aquis towel, but it's less heavy so you don't feel like you're doing a balancing act to keep it on your head. It takes my hair from "still dripping after soaking all four corners of my bath towel" to "just damp, not making my shirt collar wet" quickly and with no dripping through the towel itself. Because I don't heat-style I can't speak to whether or not that would be dry enough to be useful for y'all blow-dryer stylers, but that's what I need from a towel.I haven't had much luck getting the loop and toggle fastener working, but I've had success wrapping the hair and towel into a cinnamon-bun at the back of my head and using a stylist's duckbill clip to pin the end of the twist to the hairline, and that's plenty good enough for me. Could be the loop fastener is awkward, could be me being clumsy, can't tell, but as long as I can fasten it down in some way I'm good.I do also enjoy that this towel is bigger than most of the others I've tried, so there's more surface area to spread the water out, and it also doesn't leave the ends of my hair uncovered like the others. (When I use the shaped turban-style towels, I have to fold my hair up into the tail portion.)I can't speak to how it is on reducing frizz potential as my hair is at most a 1c (mostly just volume with a few visible loose waves depending on how it's been treated) but I have a lot of baby hairs and other hairs that don't match my main length, and this towel doesn't seem to aggravate them...? So that probably means that it would be OK for frizz, I guess?All in all, it's (of course) not the miracle device they describe it as, but I definitely consider it worth the money. And it feels similar to cooling towel fabrics I've used before, so I suspect if you bought it and didn't like it for your hair you could easily use it as a sport/cooling towel or scarf.
