Nice yard bulb.
The bloomed in the fall and I harvested the saffron. Not a lot but made some yellow rice with it. Nice color but they stay green well into winter and the deer munched on them and pulled a couple out of the ground. The have wire over them now. All germinated.

They ship out of season
The corms appeared to be in good condition when they arrived but they arrived in February. These are a late summer/fall planted bulb and they shipped them in February with no guidance as to what I should do with a bulb that was shipped entirely out of season. Storing them for six months did not seem like a path to success so I planted them in a container that I could move indoors and out as temperatures dictated. I was meticulous about not letting them suffer a hard freeze. I was betting on "tricking" them into sprouting as though it were fall. They were a complete failure. In the month that they have been in the soil they have completely rotted with no signs of having ever had life. I would avoid buying from this company. If they were truly interested in the gardener's success they wouldn't be shipping product so far out of season. Very disappointing.

Great quality saffron croms!!
I recommend purchasing all saffron from this seller! I've purchased them twice, and they are huge and all of them bloomed. I received exactly at the right time because they have to be planted in Octoberish, just before winter and only bloom in the fall/winter

Very happy with my saffron
So I purchased these saffrons back in august, and I had planted them up and did exactly what the instruction said to do.And i'm very happy with the results as of november. The seventh? That's today's date.I have had a successful ten flowers in all that came out of the bulbs that I had purchased, and there's still more coming up.So i'm very happy with them.I did do a lot of research that you have to make.Sure, the size is a nice size and not small ones, so make sure you always buy the jumble ones because of the age and because those are the older ones that will actually flour and you can get your saffron.Stimulants from it.
