Budge P9A17SF1 All Seasons Square Hot Tub Cover Lightweight, UV-Resistant, Large, Tan

I really liked this. It's easy to put on the hot tub and take off. The problem is, first time it rained hard, it kept the rain water out of the hot tub....until one of the seams ripped all the way across one side. Naturally, this happens right when my return period expired. I stapled it up the seam and it has held since. Not sure if this is just a flaw with the particular one shipped to me. Otherwise, I would highly recommend.

This cover was exactly what we needed. Our old heavy duty cover was starting to split in center fold and letting water into the tub. We put this on top and under the lift bar. It covers the original which was looking really bad and keeps the rain out. Very lightweight so you can't use this alone.

Much thinner than expected but overall, worth the price. I will update review if needed.UPDATE I thought I would use this for the summer so we didn't have too lift our water logged lid...it MIGHT have been okay IF we had no rain but there's no way to get the water off the lid without dumping in the leaves and debris that blew around. Overall, a waste of money. If you're picky about your cover looking pretty for longer, sure go ahead and get it...but otherwise...don't bother.

As an means of prolonging the life of your $300 vinyl&foam cover, these work well. However, if you don't have a shade cover over your spa, consider this an annual purchase. I live in inland Southern CA. The sun took 11 months to dissolve my first Budge fabric cover. I have not found anything better, so I've purchased a second cover. If anyone has ideas for a spray-on sunblock please let me know.Aug2015 edit - This time it went a full 12 months, $45/year, time for number 3.

I realize it is just a protective cover from the elements, but unless you want to tie down and undo every corner every time you use your hot tub...it will simply blow away on an outdoor hot tub. I just wish it "attached" better to the existing hot tub cover. I ended up tying the cover to my hot tub cover straps and added a small diameter rope around center of this cover and hot tub cover (this keeps cover in place when I fold back the hot tub cover).

It is crucial that people realize this is not a 4 inch thick cover it is like a car cover. It is perfect if you have a cover that is starting to wear and you dont want to spend hundreds of dollars to get a new one. The nice elastic is to where it will hug the frame on windy days and hug under the main cover if you want to just flip half of it open. Worth every penny "as long as you realize what it actually is".

I laid a piece of glass from a table top on the cover during one day. The place where the glass laid started falling apart. I like the price of this product and have ordered another one, but would like to get a refund for the first, since it had a 2 year warranty.

Sized as listed, so good fit. Good price, and listed as waterproof, but is same material as a car cover, so will have to wait and see. If that is the case, it should last a couple seasons before deteriorating.

This is great to put overtop of your existing cover. My existing hard cover has holes and needs to be changed but I did not want to pay that expense right now, so I have put this cover over top and it is totally water proof. We had a very big downpour and I check to see if anything went through and it did not so that is all I wanted it to do for the winter coming up.

The tarp is not water proof, it’s a soft material not a heavy duty plastic tarp that I expected. Also, the sides should be longer so what happens is the tarp bunches up on the hot tub cover sides. We took this off after 2 or 3 uses and haven’t used it since.

Thought it was good at first. But after 4 weeks it started disintegrating. Pay more for a better one
