These are the best period swimwear, my daughter love them and save her for her swim meet. I will order more.

The period swim bottoms look really good. I need to wait until my next period to be able to try them. I bought a size small, and I think they look really good on me. I lost some weight, so I was a little unsure about the size, because before losing weight I used to wear a medium, but the small fits perfectly. For now, I’m really happy with my purchase.

Bought for teen daughter so she could swim and do water park activities. These definitely held to their word. We were there for more than 6 hours. Did not notice any issues. It is a tad bulky in the "neathers" but cannot tell due to her wearing swim shorts. Good price and arrived on time.

**Update** A year ago I purchased this, and we loved it, we now have 3 and my daughter LOVES them. She competes on her HS swim team and no one even notices if she wears them under her team suit! Don’t even bother researching- or looking at other brands- this suit is the one you want if you don’t want any embarrassing moments at the pool or beach!! Wow. Wow. Wow. I am thrilled with this purchase! We had a trip planned for a quick get-a-way indoor water park and my 14 year old got her period- ugh! After many attempts and lots of tears I knew a tampon was not going to work. My friend said try a period bathing suit- lol, I read the reviews for every one listed on Amazon and weighed the pros and cons, size recommendations, and ultimately after almost two hours of comparing chose this one. Reviews stated order up a size, order down a size, true to size- ugh!! I finally decided to order the xs which was my daughters size, but just Incase ordered the small as well. My conclusion on what size you need- order your size! I believe the miscommunication on sizing is that people just don’t realize that this is a snug fitting bottom. For obvious reasons, you don’t want it to be loose! The small did fit my daughter, but were just loose enough that she thought blood might run down her legs standing in the lines for water slides. She ended up with the extra small (which was her size according to the size chart). I had my doubts- really?! Swimwear for periods- I was a nervous wreak on day one, I sent her to the bathroom after an hour to check things out, and again a few hours later- after 4 hours of water slides and wave pools I was confident that she was good! I did wash it in the hotel sink and hung dry it for the next day. She reported that it was still damp in the morning, so it is definitely thicker than a regular suit, but she had another 8 plus hour day splashing and playing in the pools! No one noticed that she wore these bottoms under her regular bikini, please note that you don’t need other bottoms on top, my daughter just wanted to wear her yellow suit so she put it on top! I did not get paid or free product- just really really excited that this is an option for girls- and it works! If your shopping for a product like this- this is the period swim bottoms you need!

Excellent product!! It fit perfectly! The material is thick and comfortable! You can swim with it without any leaks!

I don't understand how this works so well, but it does. So, I say it's a form of magic. Yes, I saw the diagrams that show the tech layers, etc. However, I still don't really get it. These period swim bottoms get wet, absorb period flow, and yet are still useful when fully immersed in water. (How do they not stop working when saturated with pool water?) We use them for swim team practices and races. For us, they've lasted for hours at a time (up to four hours on a heavy day) before needing to be changed. They fit under the training and race suits we have so far. Like any new period product, you'll likely check every 1-2 hours to see if they're still working until you know how it absorbs for your flow. Once you get experience with them, you'll know how often to change them.

So I bought these for my 12 year old who was about to start her period. Although she was not on her period when we went to water park I can comment on look and wear of them. They look like a regular swim bottom and are stylish. They are very comfortable. The nylon is very sturdy the only thing and also important detail is we do not know if they leak. Very girl appropriate not very showy at all

The one positive thing about these bottoms is that they look like a regular bikini bottom. Unfortunately, they only held up for about an hour and then started leaking, which was very embarrassing for my teen. I'm returning the unworn pair I purchased for my other daughter.

First of all, I have to thank the other reviewers here for their excellent advice!! I took all of your tips and used them. Very valuable!! Now, I am adding a couple of mine. My daughter is in a swimming course (Bronze Star) preparing to be a lifeguard, so her lesson was 1.5 hours long. She does a lot of laps in the pool and has to come in and out of the pool to practice CPR or to lift people out. She was on her 2nd day for her period (heavy day), so I was worried that this period swimwear would work out okay. It worked out perfectly!! She used a dark towel (black) to dry herself in the changeroom (other reviewer's tip). She also got changed in a bathroom stall just in case there were any mishaps. It went perfectly! No blood in the pool, no blood seen anywhere!! She wasn't wearing a tampon either. She also wore a black pair of black shorts over top of her bathing suit so you couldn't see the period swimwear underneath her full one piece bathing suit. I bought the shorts from SportsChek last year (Diadora DIAdry). I think it is active wear or swimwear. Size: The period swimwear was a perfect fit. She is normally size small in her pants, and the period swimwear was size small. Don't go bigger, or they might slip off. My ruler pic is measuring centimeters not inches. Delivery speed: The package arrived very fast! I ordered it late afternoon (5pm) and received it around 12:30pm the next day! Package includes: It includes just the period swimwear bottom, not the top shown in the pic. I was surprised it didn't have the top like the pic showed, but I hadn't planned on using it anyways.
