Aquila New Nylgut AQ-8 Concert Ukulele Strings – Low G Tuning – 1 Set of 4, Natural Finish, Premium Synthetic Gut Strings

These are recommended highly on many sites and I have used them for years. It takes about a week for them to stretch, so assume you will have to tune your Uke often especially the first day or two, then they settle in and hold tune for weeks at a time.

These sound very nice! Just know that the low g string can have a “pedal tone” sound in certain keys, because it’s a bit louder than the other strings. If that’s not what you want, maybe look elsewhere.

I put these strings on my wife's concert-sized ukulele and really like the sound.

I use these strings on all of my ukuleles!! Best Strings available…My opinion! I understand that Martin has teamed with Aquila as well.

The A, E & C strings were fine. They sounded good & tuned well enough. The G was quite another story. It was all but impossible to tune & broke within a day. Won’t be buying these again.

I wish the low g wasn't so boomy and overpowering of the other strings, but they were very easy to put on and even after barely 24hrs of being on, they were hardly going out of tune. they feel good, but the low g in this set is just a bit too loud compared to the other strings. all in all ill order from this company again. these strings were easier to tie onto the uke than others ive used in the past
