Mr. Men Little Miss: Try Again: A Book about Resilience from the New Illustrated Children’s Series for 2022 about Feelings (Mr. Men and Little Miss Discover You)

Can't recommend these highly enough.As a Primary School teacher, these have been invaluable in helping pupils talk about issues.So well written and in an easily accessibly format for children and adults alike.

This is a lovely encouraging story with lovely illustrations about being resilient and trying again. It has a nice mix of Mr men and Little Miss characters. It tells that even those who are confident on the outside can have set backs and how powerful encouragement to try again is. It's a great opportunity to sit with your child/children and talk about the importance of never giving up and trying new things. It's also a lovely opportunity to teach kids how to be encouraging to others and what a big difference it can make to them. I have really enjoyed my first read through with my girls. I can see already its giving them a lot to think about. My girls are already kind to those they see struggling but it's made them think about how everyone needs encouraging. I look forward to going through this book with them again when they need a bit of encouragement to Try Again..

This little Mr. Men book is lovely and is all about resilience from the new series from 2022!It is one of a new set of books from the range out this year that features Mr. Bump and how he's bounced back from some of life's challenges.My little one and I have loved reading this book and it's one of her favourites to read at bedtime right now so we re-read it alot and it is yet to get boring or repetitive which is great for parents who's kids want a book reading to them over and over again.I'd say that these new books are much longer and in-depth that the original Mr. Men books which is nice as they seem more fleshed-out and story driven rather than a quick narrative that is over and done with in a few minutes. It's very easy to only read a quarter or half of this book to speed up the bedtime story with it still making sense and finishing the other half another day to drag out the story.The colours and pictures are bold and bright and really captivating to little ones as they can point out all of the details well and the colours make it easy to distingush between the characters and what is hapenning throughout the story which is great as the text is quite small and long so for kids who can't quite read yet they can still be involved in the reading process.Highly recommend overall and a bargain for the price, well worth collecting the set and as a complete set i think it's going to make a lovely keepsake.

Really nice book for little ones to help them learn that it’s okay to try again when things go wrong

The Mr men series have been incredibly popular for years and years and this little Miss title is no exception in terms of quality or layout. The illustration is the traditional style but I like the text layout on individual pages with large line breaks to allow read along with the children. The quality of paper et cetera is as you would expect and will form a valuable part of any Mr men collection. Theme of this little Miss book is about resilience and encouraging children to try again when they get stuck or fail to do something. It's a good underlying message and I live in such a way that it doesn't sound too preachy.
