These are almost perfect. They are exactly the right size to hold a regular can of soup, and they hold up well in the microwave. There is one odd thing, though. There's one little spot near the bottom of each cup that will char in the microwave. Not enough to be dangerous, at least not for the length of time it takes to heat up soup. But it is long enough to make a slight burning smell. Drove me NUTS the first time, because I couldn't tell where the smell was coming from. I was afraid there was a wire heating up inside the walls next to a stud. But it was just the cup. It's happened every time I've used one, and it's never a big spot, about the size of a match head. Other than that, no problems, and I'll buy more when these run out.

Bought the 16 oz. size and I'm impressed. Put in 2 packaged of oatmeal w/1 1/3 cup of water, covered with a paper towel and cooked 2 minutes on high, in a 1000 watt microwave, for perfect oatmeal. Rinsed the cup out with a drop of dish washing liquid and used to heat soup for lunch. Again, I rinsed the cup out with a drop of dish washing liquid and used for ice cream in the evening. ABSOLUTELY NO SIGN OF LEAKS!!! Probably won't push my luck, but believe it or not, the cup is still "STURDY" with "NO LEAKS" and looks good enough to use again!

So we had 25 folks over. Pool still good so swimming was taking place but we had 3 TVs going for football. It was a blast. Had 5 different types of soup. EVERYONE loved these cups. Perfect for big scoops of soup and no mess. Some folks had 3 different cups for each soup they wanted. I just ate all mine then filled with different soup. The cup is sturdy. If you’re having a soup party order these with those long soup spoons. You won’t b disappointed, promise.

We had a church group over for a fall soup party and hayride. These cups functioned well to sample the various soups. They are big enough for a full serving of soup and held up well to the heat. Highly recommend!
