Little Dog friendly
I have 2 of these for my 11 small dog. Her breed very commonly suffers from knee caps that displace very easily - even just jumping off the sofa.I adopted a puppy mill mama rescue who is terrified of being lifted from the ground and runs from you (even after 2 years). These have been the perfect solution for my dog to choose whether she wants to be on/off the sofa or bed.I used her highest value treat (cheese) to teach her to climb up and down. It did not take long and it has given her what she needs most - having autonomy and control and what I need most - to make her feel safe with me under all circumstances. It’s heartbreaking to know your companion who wants to be near you but is too fearful to let you help them get there.

Topmart High Density Foam Pet Steps 2 are perfect for my chihuahua
Topmart High Density Foam Pet Steps 2 are perfect for my chihuahua he needed a little extra to get up on the couch so we ordered him theses steps. They are two tier and lightweight made of foam so they are soft and durable. They come with a removeable cover for easy washing and care. My chihuahua is a tiny guy who weighs about 6 pounds and these steps are just perfect for him. I would highly recommend these pet steps for any fur baby needing a little bit of extra help getting up on high furniture.

They have been consistent in design: What you see is what you get
I’ve purchased one three step before, and now this two step, and I really do appreciate that the foam design is essentially the same as the first one. The steps are slightly rounded and convex. It doesn’t slip on the wood floor when in use but is easy to move around. And the cover fits perfectly.I purchased a larger but less well made set of steps from another Amazon dealer last year, and all the steps are shorter, scooped out (instead of convex), (the cloth material is kind of saggy), and the picture provided on their Amazon site that was shown was completely inaccurate and deceptive. If this Amazon dealer, Topmart, had actually offered one of the same exact size (or slightly larger), at that time that I needed one, I would have purchased it thru them instead. The one thing (in my opinion) that could really improve it is, the cloth covering the steps should be made of some type of water repelling, non-absorbing material that would prevent water damage to the foam material encased inside.Hence the four stars instead of five.

Don’t let the packaging fool you.
I wasn’t sure what to expect. The foam steps are shrink wrapped into a small brick. So the packaging does not look like what you think the steps would fit in. Once you cut through the first two layers of the wrapping and start to cut into the third innermost 3rd layer, the Foam steps quickly expand into their desired shape. My cat, who is almost 20 years old, is so happy to be able to get on her chair without a struggle. Actually it’s me who is happy to see her not struggling. I would definitely buy these again or ones with more steps.

Very Poor Design!
When I received this item I couldn't believe how poorly it is constructed. The top step isn't a step at all. It is a steep slope. I thought it was defective and contacted the seller, including this photo. I was informed that the slope is intended to offer comfort for a dog's joints and the photo does not indicate that the item is defective. Really??? The entire piece is constructed of foam so it could not be harmful to a dog's joints. However this steep slop is a dangerous. My little dog cautiously figured out how to ascend the steps but was understandably afraid to descend due to the very poor design. The steep slope doesn't make any sense. We have quality pet steps leading up to our bed in our primary home and our dog has always used them easily. I purchased this item for our second residence with a lower bed. It was clearly a mistake. I would not recommend this product.

unstable on wood floors
The steps are sturdy and well made but unfortunately the bottom does not anchor the steps to the floor, although there are little rubber infused doggie footprints that were intended to do that. The first time my dog tried to used the steps they moved, spooking the dog. My solution: I velcroed a rug pad to the bottom and now the steps work brilliantly.

Great stairs
Great stairs and my puppy loves them too. I think the fabric cover is what really made it an easy learn for her. Highly recommend.

Not as advertised
Purchased these stairs to replace some kids foam stairs I’ve been using for my two small senior dogs. I specifically bought these bc of the noted measurements of the stairs. Specifically the height. My dogs are 14 yrs old and 12 yrs old and both have arthritis and vision problems. This was supposed to help them get up and down easier from the couch. No way can you stretch this to make it come close to 11” much less 11.8” that it’s advertised as. Also the height from the bottom stair to the front of the upper stair is not 3.9”. It’s more like 3”. Quality wise, not worth a penny over $25 IMO. The cover doesn’t fit properly and since the foam is rolled tightly into a cylinder form to ship it in the smallest box ever (yeah you read that right), the foam is also warped. It’s clear that someone is bad at math/measurements because the cover clearly wouldn’t fit the stairs if they were the true size as advertised so I have a hard time even thinking maybe the machine that cut the foam wasn’t calibrated correctly. Not unless that same machine also stitches the covers. On a good note at least it doesn’t smell of harsh chemicals and they threw in a lint roller brush. Not sure if I’m keeping or tossing at this point. I’m too pissed I paid so much money for this thing at this point to decide anything. So yeah - buyer beware.
