Looked like a good deal, but once I tried one on, I realized this made in China idea of sizing was so off. Normally I take a L or XL Bike jock, but these had waist bands way too long. In fact inspite of them all labelled as XL, each one was a different length, off by 2 inches from one to another. The pouch was way too small, and uncomfortable for my package.Other reviewers have warned that the sizing was too small so I went for the XL. Maybe at one time Goldberg was made in the USA, but offshore manufacturing seems not to have improved things. Not for North American men unfortunately.

I think it could be hard to give a review for an athletic supporter without some degree of graphic details. That being said... the purchase of this Goldberg jock on was something I did with a bit of reservation. Although I have friends that wear these as everyday wear I have always viewed jockstraps as being reserved for things only equivalent to HS PE classes.Now with school gym classes firmly in my rearview mirror, my balls hang lower than ever and somehow over the years, they've ballooned in size. They're HUGE! I sit in a plane seat for 10-14 hours and I am made very aware of their complaints. When my friends suggested wearing a jock I had always thought back to contraptions of my HS days.I placed a first order for one of these jocks hesitantly. I tried it on. Glorius! I wore it all day. Beautiful! I've now washed it several times. Splendiferous! The waistband is 3 inches and very comfortable. It moves with you nicely. The pouch area holds your goods up and cradles everything in comfort. When you go to sit down....the boys stay in front of you and not behind or under you. After wearing this jock daily for several weeks I can tell you I am a new fan.The price is right. You get a good solid quality product that feels great and is delivered fast. They look good. Times have changed. Check 'em out!

My purpose in buying a jock is for use as underwear.My waist is thirty five (35) and bought size Extra-Large (XL).They fit perfectly.

I'm a big guy in terms of build and very large in terms of endowment and most jockstraps are too tight with the waistband and the waist usually rolls during my workouts. Most legs bands are too loose after a few washings, even with my bigger thighs/glutes, and most jockstrap pouches are the furthest thing from comfortable as you can get, that is up until the give up trying to contain my equipment. With these Goldberg jockstraps however none of these problems are an issue. The waistband doesn't roll even when sopping wet from sweat, it stays in place comfortably and also doesn't grab and pull at my body hair. The legs bands maintain their shape and fit even with repeated hot washings (line dry though, avoid the dryer), and the pouch stays comfortable even through all day workouts thanks to the snug but very stretch friendly fit and material. Thanks to that stretchiness I also don't have to worry about containment failure even during the hardest of workouts, the pouch can easily handle even my hefty gear with no issues. I would definitely recommend these jockstraps to any man who wants a classic "bike style" old school strap at a decent price and is looking for a quality item made with the needs of actual real men in mind and what they need in their day-to-day lives.
