OK here's the deal: this product falls into a category of skin care products that's for really serious skin care users. Why? Because the smell is off-putting. It's gross. It's like the smell of burning glue or singed hair or manufacturing or something just generally unpleasant. But this product also has an absolutely uncanny ability to act almost as a natural botox for microexpressions, and its results are cumulative - not instant - but an investment worth making. All that collects to form a product that is going to be frustrating for anyone seeking immediate results, luxurious fragrance, or rapid and flawless absorption. The texture of this serum is very thin, milky (as the name would suggest) and left a really sticky texture on my skin. The smell is, as you can see from other reviews, really really not enjoyable. It doesn't relent and it's difficult to even layer additional scents over it to reduce its punch. But I have been using this awhile and I really do believe this product is going to do what it says. I base that on the fact that the ingredients in it are well researched and I have other Suki products that are fantastic - and as far as the scent, I can get over anything if it really works to prevent wrinkles. As far as I'm concerned, despite the scent and texture, this product gets 5 stars for its ingenuity and ability to prevent wrinkles in a way that nearly no other OTC skincare product has targeted. I like this product a great deal and I do plan to return and purchase more. Highly recommended to serious skincare enthusiasts.

I really love the other Suki products I use, so I expected to love this Hyaluronic Acid Milk Serum. Unfortunately, it smells. Really bad. First time I thought maybe I was over reacting, so second time I shook the bottle really well in case the product had settled and tried again. Still smells. Awful. So bad that I had to wash it off my face because the smell wasn't dissipating quickly enough. I really like when a company doesn't add any unnecessary perfume agents to their products, but in this case it's very much needed. I could not get past the smell to see if the product worked for me.

This is the first suki product I have had the opportunity to try. Because I know it's a good name in skincare, it won't be the last, but that is no thanks to my experience with this stuff. I expected a hyaluronic acid milk serum to be soothing, calming, and moisturizing. Instead, it was stinky and irritating! It made my sometimes sensitive skin red and tingly. The first two times I used it I thought that maybe the irritation was due to whatever cleanser I had used prior to the application of this product. Alas, after further experimentation, including using this serum on its own with no cleansing whatsoever, I had to conclude that this was the culprit. To be honest, I haven't used this serum long enough to know whether or not it really works, but it hurts when I use it and it really stinks. The smell is funky, like something old and musty...not at all like something you want to put on your face. Between the gross smell and the irritation, I don't think I will be using this serum anymore. HOWEVER, if your skin is not sensitive and you can get past the smell, this might be worth trying. I love the company's commitment to using only clean, non-toxic ingredients, as little packaging as possible, and always producing 100% cruelty-free skincare products! I will definitely try other ski products in the future. I hope my experience with this product might help YOU make a more informed purchase. Happy shopping!

What makes this stand out over other hyaluronic acid products? The inclusion of Spilanthes Acmella. Why is this significant? Read on :) While there are plenty of hyaluronic acid products on the market, it is the addition of Spilanthes Acmella in this Suki Hyaluronic Acid Milk Serum that has piqued my interest and is the reason why I will continue to use this through the end of the bottle. I gotta know! Our skin gets subjected to thousands of micro-contractions on a daily basis due to all the expressions we make. These contractions lend toward both dynamic lines and static lines on the face. These fine lines slowly become more visible as they transform into wrinkles- basically dynamic lines that occur while smiling, laughing, squinting, frowning can turn into static lines- which are evident etching even when not making an expression. Spilanthes Acmella acts as a myorelaxant agent that slows down the micro-contractions to prevent or reduce the formation of facial expression lines. As the body ages, the fibroblasts diminish and the extracellular matrix architecture gets modified, so basically we'll see more of our life and lifestyle on our faces starting in 30s and becoming more prominent in 40s & 50s. Good thing I gave up smiling when I was 12! :) These changes create a disorganization in the skins collagen structure, which ultimately leads to an increase in wrinkles and a loss of firmness in the skin. Boo. Hiss. And so getting back to their terminology, "Spilanthes Acmella reorganizes and restructures to lift, smooth, and reduce deep wrinkles while firming skin". By incorporating this ingredient into daily skin care products, the skin can be greatly helped to look firmer and reduce the appearance of wrinkles. Added benefit? Spilanthes Acmella extract has the ability enhance the penetration of other ingredients used in the product. This serum also includes the humectants hyaluronic acid and glycerin, a stable form of Vitamin C, as well as Vitamin E. What to expect: A milky white serum that is airy and light; seems to absorb well. It is in a glass bottle with a dropper cap. I like that I can tell that the bottle is securely closed because the dropper top pops up when opened, and lays flat when closed. I like Suki products (love the cleansing oil) but I have not fallen in love with this as a first impression.. but I will continue with it as it is easy enough to incorporate into my routine and I am curious about the ingredient mentioned above. In the meantime, I think it is worth trying. I will update as I learn more. Nothing bad to say, but I am perplexed by the scent. I thought maybe it was fragrance free and what I am smelling is just the natural scent of the ingredients. But it contains added fragrance as an ingredient, and I can't figure out what I am smelling. Plastic? Something odd. Not bad, not headache inducing, just cant figure it out. Since only a couple drops are needed, it doesn't really stand out. And I must emphasize, only a couple of drops are needed. Use too much? other products or make up could pill. This is not a stand alone product. You will want to follow up with a moisturizer at the very least (preferably something containing an occlusive since this product contains hyaluronic acid). Ingredients: Water (Aqua), Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Coco-Caprylate, Ethylhexyl Olivate, Sodium PCA, Glycerin, Glyceryl Caprylate, Sodium Acrylates Copolymer, Polyglyceryl-4 Oleate, Hydrolyzed Sodium Hyaluronate, Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate, Fragrance (Parfum), Glyceryl Undecylenate, Spilanthes Acmella Flower Extract, Tocopherol
