Waterproofing is very good. Shoes are lightweight yet sturdy. The sole is very comfortable. This shoe can be slippery on wet rocks, also is not suggested for rock climbing.

These are the best hiking boots that my husband had ever owned. I also have these in the women’s version. These are as comfortable as sneakers while giving the support of a sturdy hiking boots.

I found this boot to protect my feet well in difficult hiking conditions, such as the Adirondack Mountains. The boots are a bit heavy, so I don't use them on easy hikes. However, if you have lots of mud, rocks and steep grades, these boots give your feet excellent protection.

I’ve been wearing my last Quest 4D boots for the past 2 years 5-6 days a week. I work in the utility business and they are my work boots as well as my hiking and Adventure motorcycle riding boots. Outstanding in every way. Comfy and tough as heck. I don’t baby my gear and believe me these boots will hold up. Been wearing my new pair for about a week. They feel just as good and I’m already glad I got another pair. Just buy them.

These boots fit very well out-of-the-box. I wore them on to backpacking trips to break them in, and they performed greatly with good ankle support and traction. I just wore them on an elk hunting trip in Montana where it rained the first two days. These boots soaked through. The waterproofing did not last after only about one week of wearing them.
