This charger kit has been a lifesaver for our family. We bought it to power our newborn’s battery-operated swing, and it works wonderfully. To make sure the swing was always ready, we purchased an extra set of D-cell batteries with storage containers; perfect for swapping them out and keeping everything organized without worrying about losing one. The charger itself is versatile, handling everything from AAA up to D cells, and we’ve had zero issues with it. We’ve even recommended it to friends and family, and they’ve been just as satisfied. One of the biggest benefits is safety and convenience: instead of running a cord across the floor (and risking trips), these rechargeable batteries let us move the swing wherever we need it. Plus, they’ve been a huge money-saver for all the kids’ toys that constantly need batteries. Overall, this kit is reliable, practical, and cost-effective. A great buy for any household with little ones or lots of battery-powered gadgets.

This product is exactly as described and works perfectly. The batteries have lasted a very long time in my outdoor motion sensing light. Everything feels high quality and the individual charge level indicator for each battery is helpful.

One of the batteries were bad! EDIT the battery was replaced and they work really well, last a long time and the charger works well and is very convenient, their customer service is great and incredibly easy to work with. I will be purchasing more EBL batteries for all my future needs.

The first couple set of EBL rechargable batteries seemed to charge just fine except for a couple oddities. After the charger showed they had a full charge, if I removed them and put them right back it, it showed that they were *not* all the way charged. I should have returned it *then*. EDIT: THIS TURNED OUT TO HAVE SOMETHING TO DO WITH THEIR TRICKLE CHARGE TECHNOLOGY, WHICH I DON'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT. But I thought at least they charge. Now, the charger does not charge EBL batteries at all. I use a battery charge meter to check and it reads no charge after being in the EBL charger overnight. EDIT: IT'S POSSIBLE THE OLD CHARGER METER DOESN'T WORK WELL AT ALL OR NOT WITH RECHARGABLE BATTERIES (?). It's too late to return the charger and all the batteries. Stay away! EDIT: THE PATIENT CUSTOMER SERVICE HELPED ME TROUBLESHOOT THE ISSUE. THIS CHARGER AND THE BATTERIES THAT GO WITH IT ARE FOR 1.2 VOLT USAGES. THE ITEMS I WAS TRYING TO POWER NEEDED 1.5 VOLT BATTERIES. IT WAS TOO LATE TO RETURN THE ITEMS, BUT THE COMPANY OFFERED A FAIR REFUND WHILE I KEEP THE ITEMS ON HAND (EVEN THOUGH I'LL RARELY EVER NEED THEM). JUST KNOW WHAT 1.2 VOLT BATTERIES ARE CAPABLE OF RUNNING BEFORE YOU BUY.

Great battery charger. I bought this to charge four D cells used for a outdoor motion sensor light. This EBL charger also charges AAA, AA, C, D, and 9V cells. I had 6 AAA DURACELL rechargeable batteries that another battery charger was indicating defective cells, and would not take a charge. I put them in this EBL charger and they work just fine.

I took a risk that perhaps the 1-star reviews were flukes, thinking that a lot of people had rated this product with 5 stars for a reason. I regret that now. A few notes: 1) The charger's instructions are incorrect: when the batteries are being charged, the light indicator FLASHES. According to the scant instructions in the booklet, this should mean that there is a problem and that we need to stop charging the batteries right away. Pushing the blue button, as another reviewer suggested, only puts the charger in DISCHARGE mode charge the batteries. So put in the batteries, and let them charge for... about 5 hours (in my case). The battery icons will slowly start showing 2 bars, and then 3. 2) I charged the 4 (D) batteries and immediately used 2 batteries in a mini fan that I keep on my bed at night. The first set of batteries lasted about 3 nights. For reference, non rechargeable alkaline D cell batteries usually lasted about 10 to 13 nights for me. 3) On the 4th night, I replaced the batteries with the 2nd set of D batteries that I had charged at the same time. Those only lasted 1 night. Conclusion: the batteries not only don't last much at all, but they also do not hold a charge very long, even if they are not being used. 4) As I used the 2nd set of batteries in my fan, I put the 1st set back in the charger to recharge them immediately. After just 2 seconds, the light indicator started to flash with an error message (first photo)! It also showed one battery was still fully charged, which it wasn't at all as both batteries were almost depleted. I made sure that the batteries were inserted properly (they were) and tried it again. Same problem. I moved the batteries in different spots in the charger (2nd photo) and this time the icons indicated that the batteries were depleted, and this time they charged (it took about 5 hours to charge 2 batteries). For the record, this was only the SECOND TIME that I had used the charger! 5) It is also to be noted that the plastic cases that come with the charger to hold the batteries are poorly designed in that it is EXTREMELY hard to open the cases. I had to pry mine with a blade in order to be able to get to the batteries! It's very irritating. CONCLUSION: I deeply regret having bought this shoddy product. If you think "I'll take the risk", as I did, you'll end up writing your own 1-star review and regretting the purchase and wasted money. Don't buy this.
