Haven't worn them out on the trail yet but they seem to be great quality! Size is perfect. I went with wide because I need it across my toes for some brands and I didn't want to have to return it the regular didn't work, but I feel like I could've gotten away with the regular width, but still think they'll work, just a little extra room in the toes. I got them on sale so they're definitely worth the money! Happy with this purchase!

I love this entire line of Columbia boots - Newton Ridge Plus - I have two pairs in two different colors. They are the MOST comfortable boot! They hold up super well. I have hiked major trails in Kentucky, went through mud, wet fields, stood long hours in my shop on concrete - and my feet always feel so good and solid in them. I ordered wide and they are truly wide boot, but not swimming in them. Cushioning support is awesome - no break in required for these at all! LOVE LOVE

I hike every weekend in dry and muddy conditions. These boots have great traction and ankle support; good for flatter, somewhat steep hikes. However, after about 30 wears, I did notice that my toes hurt from the hard toe box when I go down on steep hikes. So, not really comfortable for steep hikes, or did not last that long.

I love my new boots!!!! After wearing them for several hours, I took them off to go into the house. When it was time to leave, my boots were still warm one hour later!!! They are very comfortable and dirt is easily wiped off.

Ordered in a wide, if you have truly wide feet these are very tight still. I have to wear my thinnest socks to fit these and I do have discomfort while wearing them. Just wish they were actually wider. However they are beautiful boots and keep my feet very warm in the winter.
