I've had these house numbers now for about 5 years. They still look great. And really go well with my Mid Century house. I like that they stand away from the brick of the house.

The recommended installation instructions simply didn't work. I drilled a 6mm hole, installed the shields, which was difficult, then couldn't pound the numbers. Another reviewer recommended skipping the shield and just drilling a hole to accommodate the bare spike. Since I already had the 6mm holes, I filled them with epoxy putty and installed the numbers before it could harden. My guess is that the vendor switched suppliers for their shields and the new ones are different from their originals and simply don't work.

So glad I bought the 6" letters! The scale is much better next to the garage doors. Very happy how this turned out.
