HaywardPSV3SDGR PVC 3-Way Diverter Valve

I recently installed the Hayward PSV3S2 CPVC 3-Way Diverter Valve in my pool system, and I'm thoroughly impressed with its performance. The CPVC construction offers excellent heat resistance, preventing warping and leaks even in demanding environments .The valve's design allows for easy flow regulation, and the dial handle operates smoothly, providing precise control over water direction . Installation was straightforward, and the valve accommodates both 2" and 2-1/2" plumbing, making it versatile for various setups.

I live in California and the drought has hit us hard. I Tapped into my upstairs shower drain and diverted the water to my front yard lawn and I have the ability to re divert the water back to the drain when I don't need the greywater such as a (rare) rainy day. My kids take extended showers and I couldn't stand the thought of all that precious water simply going down the drain. I gave it four stars because I did have to clip of some locks preventing the valve from moving to the direction I wanted, obviously this valve was not intended for diverting grey water.

The valve does what it is supposed to do. I like the ability to re-index the valve to make it block the ports that I want it to. I am using it as a diverter and bypass valve for my new pool heater and it does the job well. It is setup to divert some or all of the water when required away from the heater. At one point I needed to shut off the water to the heater and when set in that position, I was able to disconnect the heater from the system with the filter running and it didn't leak a drop. The handles can also be locked in position and I like that as well. The valve bonded solidly to PVC pipe with PVC / CPVC glue which made my life easier.

This item was perfect. the pool guys was going to charge us 150.00. my husband put this in with no problems at all.

I needed this last minute while installing a new pool heater. Warranty stated that if chemistry in pool was off, that you need the water to bypass the heater until chemistry was back in balance. My old heater did not have this and I want this quickly so I could complete my install. Arrived by 4 pm next day and I'm up and running before the weekend
