Convenient, tasty, and filling - now a staple in my pantry
I heard about these through an online weight-loss community and I wish I knew about them sooner! I usually eat my breakfast at my desk after arriving at work, so I often bring single-serving packets or cups of oatmeal to make life easy. There are a few good options out there, but a lot are too sweet (often meaning unnecessary calories), and don't always fill me up for more than a couple hours. The Mighty Muffins are the perfect answer to that. They're actually FEWER calories than flavored oatmeal cups, and much more filling - and even easier/quicker to make. After trying each flavor in the variety pack, my favorites are the double chocolate, apple cinnamon, and peanut butter, but I would gladly eat every one again, with the possible exception of the maple pumpkin (the protein flavor seemed to show through more on this than the others). Individual tastes vary so I'm glad there's a variety pack for everyone to find their favorites. In general, you can expect these to be less sweet than similar foods, which is such a welcome change. Since the major ingredients are protein powders, there is a little bit of a protein taste - if you are used to drinking protein powder, it won't bother you at all. If you aren't, they might take a little getting used to, but most of the flavors do a good job of masking the flavor. The first time I made one, I licked the spoon after mixing the batter - and the protein taste was overwhelming and my expectations went in the toilet - but after cooking, the more decadent flavors take over! You'll also want to use the first few cups to play around with your microwave settings. I followed the instruction times at first, but found that a few fewer seconds at around 80% power got the best results. When done according to the instructions, they got big and fluffy and spongy. Cutting the power and time just a little means that they stay moist in the center/bottom, and the chocolate/peanut butter chips stay gooey. If the center part of the top of the muffin still looks just a little wet, you're doing it right!Overall I'm going to continue ordering these, maybe in my favorite flavors instead of the variety pack. It feels like a treat, especially for the unbelievably low calories!

The only protein supplemental that I happily like/tolerate!
So, for various reasons I’m unable to eat/digest protein and have to look for ways to add it to my diet via foods that are easily chewed and processed by my limited (shortened) intestines. (Sorry for the tmi!) For years I’ve tried various protein supplementals: drinks, bars and the like but they all either upset my digestion, tasted bad, or had too much sugar. Then came the Mighty Muffin. I think at first the taste was a bit odd, but after eating a few, the tasty flavors, them not coming back up, and the knowledge I was getting a whopping 20g, have gotten me hooked. And only 10g sugar or less. The chocolate one really feels like an indulgence and I’d recommend cinnamon or one of the berry ones for ppl not liking chocolate. The only one I’m not keen on is banana. And I like the peanut butter but only if I dont smell of it before cooking. Those who do not like the taste of pea protein might stay away from PB. Taste is very much a subjective thing but I can say that I don’t like any artificial sweeteners (they make me ill) but I can tolerate stevia tho MM do have some stevia the taste isn’t overwhelming, to me. Lastly I have had both regular and no gluten and can’t tell much dif between them. Hope Mighty Muffins stay on the shelf for a long time to come.

It's a healthier alternative to not eating at all....
So far I've tried: S'Mores, Maple Pumpkin, Apple Cinnamon, and Peanut Butter. The best of those four, in my opinion was the Peanut Butter. Word of caution they tend to run a little dry, but since I changed the water to milk (1:1 ratio) I feel it's more moist after sitting during cooling.1. S'Mores tasted similar to the Maple Pumpkin until I reached the bottom where all the chocolate and marshmallow drops were.2. Let me preface this with I don't care for pumpkin, and Maple Pumpkin to me was just okay. I wouldn't go out of my way to buy some.3. Apple Cinnamon was moist and tasted interesting. Didn't care for the "apple" chunks in it but hey it works.4. Peanut Butter was very tasty and peanut butter-y. It was the most flavorful of the four I've tried and, as I love PB, probably a reason for my bias.5. Peanut Butter Chocolate. This one wasn't bad, but had the same problem with the tasty crumblies at the bottom.6. Double Chocolate reminded me of the semi-sweet chocolates (a pale chocolate flavour) and had the tasty chocolate crumblies at the bottom. Word of caution to chocolate lovers: the last three I've eaten (I've had 4 of them total) have tasted bitter-sweet and thankfully are at the bottom. Unless it's "that time" these aren't going to be completely consumed. And, if you were wondering if am a picky eater. If I do not like something I will not eat it. I don't care if I paid $30 for it. It will go right into the trash if I do not like it. I love donuts, and pastries, cakes, pies, ice cream, brownies, everything. These muffins did keep me full and focused throughout my day (I'd pretty much skip lunch or dinner if I ate them because they are filling.) I do add more fiber to them and am more than happy to mix more into them as I find out the best way to make em. Each item I was able to finish without much complaint.

Taste good and great on the go
This is something quick and easy that I can grab on my way to work since you only have to microwave it for 30 seconds if even that depending on your consistency you want it does taste really good if you want it a little sweeter which I did I added a little chocolate syrup and it still is healthy even with that little Added TouchI was also extremely impressed with the email I received giving me tips on how to make it to the right consistency and just checking to see it overall if I liked it I don't leave too many reviews but that's when I definitely had to
