Si pones mucha agua se pueden hacer más transparentes, si no, cubren muchísimo con unos colores muy brillantes.

Absolutely beautiful, bought these as a gift to myself. The paints are just lovely to watch. First you should wet the paints for a minute before use, as per instructions on Coliro's website. The paints then can be layered very thickly onto the paper, which produces an opaque metallic shine with great colour. You can also paint them as thin watercolour layers, where the colour is very muted but the shine looks great. One of the paints in this set is purely a "sparkle" paint, so there is little to no colour with it, it is just a silver sparkle paint "Stardust". See my pictures (the grey blob to the side is not part of this set). At the bottom I had some orangey cotman watercolour swatch testing, and I layered some of the "Stardust" paint over it to see how it would look. Cotman watercolours reactivate very very easily so you can see some lifting there, but the effect is still really nice if you wanted to paint as normal and then have some sparkle layers on top. This was tested on Bockingford cold press. A note that the blue especially can look somewhat grey in a thin layer, but in the light it comes up very blue again. I think these paints work best either applied as a thick layer, or probably as the final layer on top of a work painted with non-metallic paints.

This product was slated to be returned because I kept reading that the colors, especially Peacock Blue, weren't vivid. Then I decided to try them for myself. First of all, let me say that I believe these colors aren't really meant to be used alone. They really shine when used over another color to enhance that color. And face it, white paper doesn't do shimmer colors justice. Anyway, I did my swatches and I am impressed. I really think these will add pop where needed. And the blue? Get it in the light and watch it shine!! Happy

Ich habe nach brillianten Effektfarben gesucht, um meine Aquarellgemälde zu verschönern und eine Freundin hat mir diese Marke hier empfohlen. Ich habe natürlich zuerst gezögert, weil die Farben recht teuer sind, aber im Nachhinein bin ich wirklich froh, dass ich sie mir doch bestellt habe! Die Farben sind sehr hoch pigmentiert (wenn man sie entsprechend anmischt) und glitzern/schillern wunderschön im Licht (siehe Beispielfotos). Ich kann sie daher jedem empfehlen, der einen schönen Akzent setzen möchte :)

C’est la première palette Coliro que j’ai acquise en 2018, depuis j’en ai acheté 2 de plus ! En effets ces aquarelles ont un éclat que je trouve remarquable, elles sont miscibles entre elles, ne d’affadissement pas au soleil … bref, elles sont superbes pour la peinture comme la calligraphie. Je vous les recommande !
