Gentle, no-frills, and exactly what my skin needed
I have sensitive, combo skin and was a little nervous to try a toner again (most tend to dry me out or sting). But this one? Total game changer. It’s super gentle, no fragrance, and actually feels hydrating—not just water in a bottle.I use it after cleansing, and my skin just feels calm and balanced—not tight or stripped. It layers really well under moisturizer too. If you’re looking for something simple that just works, this is it.

Nice if your skin can handle it, but it broke me out
This is a solid toner if it works with your skin. It gives you a really nice clean feeling without completely stripping your skin or causing too much damage. It's great as a first step to prep your skin for other products, and it feels good with no irritation when it goes on. The lack of witch hazel also means you should be able to use it daily without problems (I think).However, while I really like the way this toner feels, I noticed that I was starting to break out and this toner was the only thing that changed about my routine. My skin is typically not super acne-prone and tends to take any other CeraVe product I've tried very well, so I'm not sure what it is about this one that my skin didn't like.Like any skin care product, you can never tell how your skin is going to react to it until you try it. If I didn't break out from it, this would be a really nice toner! Breakouts don't seem to be super common with this one from what I can tell from other reviews, but you never know.Overall, it's a solid toner, but be aware that there may be a risk of breakouts. If your skin is especially sensitive, I would maybe shop around a bit more.
