I originally ordered this in 2023 and the power button recently stopped working after 2+ years of daily use (past the 2 year warranty) . Over time, it also started losing charge more quickly and I had to charge more often so it wouldn't die during a walk (every 4 days before it stopped working but it used to be maybe about a week). I think that also helped the battery last longer. I love the rainbow mode especially and had to reorder. My pomchi often gets compliments during our night walks and the small size works great for her.

Nice size and shape for a collar or harness even on a medium small dog. Not too heavy. Is solid and seems very durable. Quite bright led light. Good attachment hook hardware, easy to manipulate yet not likely to fall off. Easy on/off switch. Rechargeable by usb. Haven’t had to charge it yet after done use. Haven't had it out in wet weather but looks quite waterproof.

Update: I contacted Nite Ize. This product has a 2 year warranty and they will be sending me a replacement (yay!!). I originally bought the same product from Target and it broke. I have provided a receipt and hopefully they will replace this too as it was purchased in Nov. 2022. (Yay! they did!!). This is a great company to work with. They stand behind their product.I purchased this item on Jan 11, 2023 and 41 days later it will not work (yes, recharged as I have in the past) but not functioning. I would think this would have a guarantee longer than this from the company. Up until then it was a good product. I discovered they have a 2 year warranty and they replaced it, no problem.

Really liked it at first, could go a couple days between charges (turning it on and off only when I let my dog out at night), was nice and bright. Maybe the 3rd or 4th time I went to charge it it wouldn't charge and was lighting up weird. My best guess is it may have gotten wet (she didn't go swimming or anything but it had been a rainy muddy week and it definitely got mud splashed on it). For something meant to be worn by a dog I was expecting a bit more durability.

Single solid piece of metal ring wrapped around the main housing(well-milled so no sharp edges). Attachment hook has a 7mm opening at the smallest gap. Smooth, rubbery material on front and back providing impact protection and tightly sealed for water/dirt resistance. Decent brightness in low/no light settings. Battery life varies depending on the mode. For mines on a full charge, the single color mode(red, green, blue, or white) will last around 5hrs continuous running time; whereas the color changing (disc-o) mode will only last around 2.5hrs. Strobe mode on single colors lasts around 8hrs(no strobe mode for disco-o). Disc-o mode, although shorter duration, is a nifty feature since it slowly transitions between all colors of the rainbow🌈. After turning on, another quick press switches to strobe mode; hold button down to cycle to another color or disc-o mode. Memory feature remembers the last setting you had it on the next time it’s turned on. Hope this was useful in helping you make an informed purchase.🤙

4/2024 update: Contacted customer service, because one dog ate the other’s off their collar. The replaced it right away! I support this product even more now :)•••I purchased one almost a year ago, and it’s wonderful! I turn it on for every evening and bedtime outing. It lasts about 3 days on one charge, and it’s easy to recharge. I haven’t had any issues with the charging aspect, unlike some reviewers.We have a large amount of yard fenced in, so it gives me peace of mind to be able to find him in the dark (and make sure he’s behaving!). It’s so bright and visible.I love this product so much, I bought another one for our newest pet. We’ve had it on her for a couple months now, and it works great. I love that I can make her a different color than his, so I can see who is who in the farthest, darkest parts of the yard!I recommend it to all my pet friends.

I picked this light because it's rechargeable and couldn't be happier. I clip it to my dog's harness for when we walk after dark. The light is bright and easy to see, and lasts weeks between charges (when used about an hour each day). I'll probably get a second one so I can clip one to my jacket as well as the dog and have no hesitation about getting another of this exact product.

This worked really at first, but now about a month in, it no longer holds a charge. I loved the color options and brightness when it was working. Just frustrating that after pretty light use nightly for potty breaks, it’s already dead.
