My overhead cabinet is 12 inches deep will this work?

I seen 2 answers about the depth, but it doesn't answer the question. Will this work with cabinets that are 12" deep?

To direct wire this ..Do you just cut off the plug and connect the wires?

As an electrician you SHOULD NOT do what is suggested above “shoving the wires into the wall”. It is against code and not safe to make connections in the wall or outside of the unit. The cord could be removed and connections made with wire nuts inside of the unit.

Does this come in white?

This unit is only available in stainless steel.

can the cos-5mue used with an existing 7" vent ?

Thank you for your question. This model has a 5" in duct vent the top and back of the unit. It is possible to use this with a 7" existing vent with the proper adapter transition piece.
