Plenty Bright and Works Perfectly! I would recommend this to a friend.
This was perfect! I bought three and was not disappointed. The wavelength is right and seems to help with SAD. It is plenty bright for its intended purpose. (I'm not sure why the other person was annoyed. It's not a stare into the sun bright, but for a blue light, it is extremely bright. It's brighter than the pictures make it appear in the listing. It came in a small box right on time. It has a metallic outer coating and fits a regular light bulb socket. It doesn't seem to get too hot. (not cool mind you, but it definitely won't cause any issues.) I would definitely recommend this to a friend.

Thank you. Her wound is healing now
Trying this on my thing skinned elderly mom. She has a wound that won't heal. I am pleased to say that since I have been shining the red light on the wound during bandage changing and cleaning, the wound is now healing. ( This has been going on since February, got this light middle of August)

Purchased with a lantern cord to make it into a hand held wound/skin "healing wand" when the same exact bulb purchased five years ago was dropped and broken. No issues with the old bulb until then, no issues with the new bulb.

Not very bright.
I bought this light only because the Ruby Lux bulbs were out of stock and was extremely disappointed by the low light output of this product. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone except as an extreme back up, or if this is your only option. Otherwise go for a Ruby Lux bulb instead, just a dollar or two more for much better quality and a proper power output.
