I wasn't expecting much for the price of this bedspread so I was very pleasantly surprised with the quality. Since I have a 4 poster bed that's meant for a coverlet, I didn't want a bedspread. I bought the full/queen size for my California king and it fits perfectly as a coverlet. I opened up the package and there was no funky smell. I went ahead and washed it in cold water and dried it on low and it came out perfectly. It's very light weight and we'd had a bitter cold night with temperatures just below zero and I didn't think it would be warm enough so I put on an extra t-shirt. I ended up taking the t-shirt off after less than five minutes. This coverlet was certainly warm enough. A couple nights later, I had a friend here to spend the night. Even with the extra blankets on the bed in our guestroom, she was freezing so I (reluctantly) turned the heat up to 80°. We like a colder house at night and we never go above 65°. I thought I was going to roast to death. I cracked a window open in the bedroom but it was still hot. I thought the bedspread would be too warm but it was actually perfect for an overly warm night. I didn't get hot with this bedspread. The fabric is perfect for summer and winter, it's very well made and much lighter and easier to use than the cotton coverlet I finally replaced. I used to wake up every single night with a stuffy nose before getting this bedspread. For the first time in years, I've not awakened in the middle of the night with a stuffy nose. The color and quilting design were exactly as pictured. The only thing I wish they'd offer is the ability to buy three larger shams instead of the two smaller shams as my bed is pretty big. But, I bought some throw pillows on Amazon so it looks fine. I loved my old cotton coverlet and I figured that this bedspread, being polyester would look shiny and cheap but it looks and feels like my cotton coverlet without being as heavy. I normally spend money on bedspreads and linens because I don't want tacky looking beds in the house and I'd planned on using this bedspread only until I could find another nice cotton coverlet but I'm not looking at replacing it now. It doesn't look cheap, shiny or tacky at all. If you're concerned that this will be too heavy, too light, shiny and cheap looking or poorly constructed, you needn't be worried. Next time I have to replace a bedspread or coverlet, I'm buying another one of these. I can't find any fault with the bedspread or shams and I have no complaints with the construction of the bedspread. It's even finished nicely on the edges and reversible. This is one of the best deals I've come across. The linens on my bed cost almost a thousand dollars so I'm going to check out their linens now.My daughter is in the Navy and moves around a lot. She's always looking for ways to cut down on weight. She's currently stationed in Hawaii and the Navy pays to move her back to the mainland but she has to pay for any moving after that so she travels light. She was sold on the weight alone. She received this bedspread a few days ago and loves it. She has no AC and Hawaii is warm and humid but she says it's definitely not too hot. She bought a blue color and agrees that the color is exactly as pictured. For the price, whether it's for a house, cabin, dorm, etc, this bedspread checks all the boxes. I would recommend this without hesitation.

Color is nice. Reminds me of sand at the beach. Light weight. This is a queen size and it is long on the sides and also from front to back. I still suggest a bed skirt. I do not like any part of the mattress or box spring showing. Goes well with my other shams and throw pillows. The fabric is soft. I just put on bed without washing it as I wanted to see how it was going to look. I like it for fall/winter. Stitching seems perfectly fine. Nice design. The price is right on too. Hope this helps anyone on the fence for buying.

I have used Mellani for sheets for a couple of years now, and it was time for a more season appropriate bed spread (our other one was was too warm during spring/summer). I was ordering new sheets from this brand, we are getting ready to repaint our bedroom and wanted something that went with the new colors. This popped up as frequently bought together and I decided to give it ago. So glad I did! I have had such great luck with this brand. Great quality for a great price, especially having a king sized bed! I couldn't wait to climb into bed as soon as I put this on! It is definitely oversized, so no one has the short end like with other blankets. It is especially a struggle having an 85lb. pitbull in bed with us, he ALWAYS pins the blankets down making it impossible to fully cover up. The other "summer" blanket we had was way too short on the sides making it so we always needed another one just to fully cover up making it WAY too hot during the warmer months. This has so much blanket its amazing! It came in GREAT condition. I completely checked it over; there were no pulls in the seams or stitching, no discoloration or tears, and was not soiled or dirty from packing. The gray goes great with the gray sheets from Mellanni and even the dark blue sheet set. I would definitely recommend this bed spread as well as the sheets!

I’ve been using this bedspread for a while now and love it except for its size. The color was beautiful and matched the picture perfectly. The weight is good—not too heavy—and it’s cool during the summer. The fabric is soft and doesn’t wrinkle.The only issue is the size. We have a California King mattress, so I ordered the King size, thinking it would fit well. However, I should have paid closer attention to the measurements. A California King measures 72 inches by 84 inches, while the bedspread should measure 108 inches by 111 inches. My bedspread measures 132 inches by 144 inches, which is essentially an extra 5 feet of fabric instead of the expected 3 feet. I could take it to a seamstress and have the extra 2 feet of fabric trimmed I suppose. Anyway, that’s my experience. Hope it’s useful to someone else.

We like the size of the bedspread as it covers our entire bed. The quality is excellent and it looks good in our environment.

This is then and exactly what I wanted. I get hot, generate a lot of heat when I’m sleeping at night. All the comforters out there left me in a puddle of sweat. Not this, was perfect. Had a good night sleep the very first night and ever since.

This is exactly what I was looking for. It’s lightweight and covers the entire bed and almost touches the floor. My bed frame has the mattress sitting 15” off the floor. The color is very soothing. I did have a small issue after washing it, but customer service was fabulous to work with! Everything was taken care of.
