A: You could be doing more harm than good cleaning your own teeth at home. Improper angulation if the tools and the ability to identify decay could end up causing you pain and even more money. I would HIGHLY recommend you check and see if there are any Dental Hygiene schools near you and pay them a visit. You pay between $40-50 for a cleaning (even the deep cleanings). At home cleaning may work for some, but consider a more affordable, legit option over someone trying to sell you something on Amazon. This is coming from a Dental Hygienist of 10+ years.

Are dental services that expensive in the USA, so that people by this?

No they are not. I have no idea what the other person who answered claiming a $900 cost is talking about. I have paid for just a cleaning for my daughter for $60 less than 6 months ago in Colorado, at an actual family dentist's office. Perhaps if you have a decades worth of buildup on your teeth and bad hygiene it could be super expensive...
