Can i refill the gas can ? Is it refillable ?

No, the gas canisters are disposable and non refillable

What size is the cooking area (not including the cannister section), so I can get the right pan before it arrives?

I have used any size pans including a wok and a large frying pan and they all fit comfortably on it .

Can I use 3rd party gas canisters ?

As long as the fitting is the same I can not see why not
