Great for internal USB power
I haven't tested this for data lines but it solved the auxillary power I was looking for inside of my PC case.

Careful! Look at pin layout online
Make sure you look at pin layout for both your motherboard and how this product is supposed to be. The pins were wrong and I had to repin it

Wired completely backwards.
This adapter did nothing initially when I plugged it in. Upon inspection I found that it was wired completely backwards and the power pin was installed on the knockout block of the connector. Rewired it to match correct USB spec and it works perfectly fine. I know these are cheap from China but man, this was lazy.

Works great!
Works great for adding a USB 2.0 device inside of your machine. I have used these for specialty fans, wifi dongles, and much more. Does exactly what you would expect.

If you want an additional power source in your PC, get this!
This thing is perfect! Our motherboards usually have a lot of unused power sources by us. If you can google your motherboard and find the multiple 9-pin outlets, you got more power sources to utilize! I used to power a second set of fans, a portable SSD card, and an LCD temp screen! Great for the price!

Just what was needed
Just what I needed to install a monitoring screen for temps inside of the PC case, instead of having to run the USB cable out of the back of the PC.
