Great for pencil artists who want to correct or redo delicate areas of their work.
I had one of these as a kid for use on typescripts of all things, to try to rub away newly inked mistakes before you had to use those little wite-out strips. When I was studying in art college they became indispensible for pencil sketches and I used mine in and out of class. I'm thrilled that these live up to my memories and work just as well, but are easier to sharpen than they used to be. The eraser center is nice and precise and lets you fix very fine areas. I'm very happy with this product and pleasantly surprised at the value.

great for details
One of my students brought one to class and inspired me to order. The pointed tip makes erasing small errors easy and accurate. You can sharpen it in the electric sharpener

It does the job!
I use a variety of erasers for my art. I love to experiment. Each type of eraser gives me different FX. Pink Pearl (to me) being the more aggressive. I use 100% airbrush on synthetic paper. This particular eraser is good for small details as I find it to be stiff when sharpened and extra stiff if you use an exacto after sharpening to cut it down a bit. This is the only way I use this or any other eraser. It has it's place among a variety that I own.

Works in small areas
The eraser works, but a little wobbly as you use it, but it’s not a bad eraser. I like that it has a small tip for small areas. I think if it was a little more firm, I would give it 5 stars.

Game Changer. Wish I had found these a long time ago.
These are awesome. I saw a professional artist use this type of eraser pencil on graphite for detailing. I had some of a different brand with the pink eraser but it just didn't do that great of a job. The best detail eraser I had found was the Tombow mono eraser. It was good but it was so soft, it would bend, keeping it from producing the super fine lines like hair. I decided to try this one out. What a game changer! It cuts through the graphite and produces the fine lines I was hoping for. The only downside is that when I try to sharpen it, it doesn't create a fine point. So I just snipped off the end with scissors to create a very narrow edge. So glad I gave them a chance.

Essential tool for graphit/charcoal.
IT’s excellent for when you need a more gentile removal than with a mono zero. It also can be sharpened.

If you draw you need these
These erasers have replaced my Tombo mono! They allow subtle removal of graphite with amazing control. I was concerned the rubber would break off when sharpened to a sharp point but it has not happened. The rubber is very flexible so would not be good for erasing large areas. I just love them.
