This cleanser felt so gentle on the skin. My skin feels nice whenever I use it, and I have combination to normal skin. I haven’t tested if it can take off makeup but I will definetly check soon. The packaging is nice, and it works great. It takes a bit to get it to be foaming and bubbly, and I thought it would be more foamy. I think it’s perfect for the price, and definitely better than some expensive cleaners out there. In addition, my package came pretty early, earlier that I expected.

I was wondering how great this could be given the large size of the bottle and price point. Well…it’s pretty great.First, it does actually foam up well. It doesn’t leave an oily residue and my skin actually feels clean and fresh after using it.Second. No irritation…just clean and light.Finally, it just feels like a nice, straight-forward, refreshing face wash that doesn’t go on heavy and washes off easily. Sometimes simple is a nice change when it seems like skin care now involves 97 steps.Overall, this is a great value for a good skin cleanser.If you are looking for a heavy cream or crazy smells, this is not it…this is the basic, good wash that will leave you refreshed!

I use Tret 0.025% and at first my skin was VERY sensitive and I was using the Aveeno gentle cleanse. I felt like it wasn’t good with removing everything and had to double cleanse.But now I don’t have to double cleanse with THIS cleanser! It is hydrating and very gentle on my skin but it’s cleans sooo good! I love that I see suds (Aveeno didn’t) and after drying , my skin feels sooo good. I have not noticed oiliness but it’s far from drying on my skin!Routine: AM- cleanse, VaniCream and hero spf green tint (just in chase I get red lol it has a matte finish but you won’t look dry!)PM- Cleanse, VaniCream (I use the original but sometimes I switch to the sensitive skin with hyaluronic acid) tret, and Vani again

I’ve tried everything from Korean skin care (too soft on my skin) to African skin care (too rough) and I’ve always made my way back to CeraVe. Works the best, more bang for your buck, and simple. I have oily skin and it instantly clears my skin when I start with it again. Even Anua doesn’t do it for me. I also use the CeraVe moisturizer (blue bottle). That pair works the best together.

I love this brand so much. I don’t have a strong set when I use it. It does a great job of taking my makeup off after a long day when I’m washing my face the quality is great clean my skin really good. I have been using this product for Over two years now I’ve used others Cerave face washes and so far this is my favorite. I don’t like the other ones and I will not use the other ones.

I've had a LONG battle with my skin for almost two decades, and finding the right skincare product seemed like only a pipe dream. I've tried every skincare regimen under the sun, but they would either irritate or dry out my combination oily/dry skin. Because of this, I quit skincare altogether and stopped using any product, hoping my skin would refresh itself. Sadly, it did not.My good friend recommended I give this cleanser a try, along with their AM and PM moisturizer. The first two times I used the cleanser, the skin on my bottom eyelids had a very mild allergic reaction where it became slightly itchy and noticeably more red, but the reaction didn't come back on the third wash. I IMMEDIATELY noticed how much the texture and elasticity of my skin improved. I am so happy to finally find a cleanser that works for skin! I highly recommend this product, especially if you thought all hope was lost for your skin.
